  1. Now SOLD. Sadly selling my beautiful Spector Euro4 LX-EX as I'm just not getting much use out of it. I've had it for about 7 years, but I believe it was manufactured in 2007 (according to the serial number NB6546). It's in excellent condition, has only been lightly used at home, and for a few rehearsals, in all that time. It has an Aguilar OBP-2 pre-amp (fitted by the previous owner, I believe), and all other original parts as far as I know. EMG pickups (the usual Spector P + J combo), through-neck construction, exotic wood finish (hence the "EX" in the name, I believe), Schaller tuners, and is currently strung with TI flats. Weight is 8.8lb / 4.05kg according to my luggage scales. Comes with a hard case, included in the price. In full working order, nice low action and very playable, no marks or blemishes to my knowledge, and has been professionally set up a few years ago, not long after I got it. Any questions, or more pics, please just ask. Collection from Highworth (just north of Swindon, Wiltshire), or I can send by fully insured courier, in the case and well packaged, for an extra £25.
  2. If this is still available, I'd be interested... I'll PM you with some questions.
  3. SOLD NOW Selling my MarkBass Traveller 121H bass cab, rated at 400W with 1x12 driver plus 1" compression tweeter. Has had mainly home/practice use, gigged a couple of times but in immaculate condition. Comes with custom Roqsolid fitted cover. Dimensions (W x H x D): approx 39 x 59 x 43 cm Weight: 15.7 kg I can send by courier (I usually use InterParcel) for £25 insured, or you can collect from near Swindon, Wiltshire.
  4. Sold MarkBass "Little Mark" 250 Blackline head for sale. Rarely used, gigged maybe 2 or 3 times, mainly home/practice use only. Immaculate condition, comes with mains and speakon cables. If you'd like a matching cab, please see my other ad for a MB Traveller 121H. Features:- Output Power: 250W at 4Ω Transistor pre amp Analogue power amp Effect send / return (switchable pre / post) 4-Band EQ (2 mid bands) VPF and VLE regulator XLR (balanced) and jack (6.3 mm) input Line out regulated separately Weight: 2.6 kg Dimensions (H x W x D): 71 x 276 x 256 mm Can post by courier (I usually use InterParcel) for £12 insured, or collection from near Swindon, Wiltshire.
  5. Just sold my Markbass cab to Paul, top bloke, very honest and reliable, highly recommended.
  6. MarkBass STD 151 HF cab with 15" 400W 8 ohms speaker, plus compression-driver (horn). The cab is front-ported also, and comes with a Roqsolid cover. Never used by me, I bought it from someone else on BC a couple of years ago, and it has sat in my spare room ever since. It appears to be in immaculate condition, the Roqsolid cover has kept dust at bay and other than a quick test today (to make sure it still works!) it has barely been used. It has never been out of the house, never been used for rehearsals or gigs, and is just taking up space. It's too big to post or courier easily, so I'd prefer pickup from Swindon, Wiltshire, or could possibly meet up somewhere within 50 miles if that helps. Dimensions are 59cm wide, 48cm deep, 74cm high. Weight is approx 30kg.
  7. Actually, judging by your handle, maybe Sheffield is the midlands, looking from Newcastle... of course I'd never actually admit to that 🙂
  8. Wow, I'd forgotten how bad that VH1 Def Leppard film was! In the first minute, it shows the "English countryside" with sheep wandering round... in the California deserts! Then it shows Rick Allen (pre-crash, with 2 arms) driving across "the pennines" with a road sign saying "M25 - 2 miles" from the A57! Fair play, it's not easy to make California look like derbyshire. I also remember a shot of some LA industrial warehouse, with a subtitle saying "Sheffield Spoon factory". But I have to agree about Rock of Ages, the movie is terrible, and I saw the stagew show in Oxford a few days ago and quite enjoyed it. Yeah, it's cheesy and naff, but the stage show has some energy. The film is just... naff. why did they bother? Oh, and the Leppard film... Midlands? Sheffield is the NORTH, man! ;-)
  9. Just bought a Markbass cab from Glen, top bloke, very pleasant to deal with, great BC'er.
  10. Bump, hoping for a local sale now, but there's still time if anyone here is interested...
