Thanks Mickey, anyone else got any info?

Hey all, I have a friend who is selling a Fender Musicmaster '78 bass. To be honest I don't have a clue what these basses are like and I was contemplating making an offer, is £200 for one in mint condition about right? I've looked for some information online and can't really find owt, so some info from the experts? Cheers much.
