Total Watts

  1. I’m miraculously still in too. Not a lot tempting me and no budget to go crazy so that’s handy.
  2. Stunning bass, sounds incredible and plays incredibly easily. I can’t do 6 strings, and I can’t really cope with headlesses, but this is a beaut and I didn’t completely embarrass myself when I have had the pleasure of fondling it. And a top bloke to deal with to boot.
  3. My last two Katy Hurt gigs have had the 500W combo as backline. Hugely impressive little things. Bet the 800W slams!
  4. Agreed @BassAdder60 I keep saying I find the TE1200 an excellent “pedal platform”. The core tone is superb but if you want grit or anything else, the amp just soaks it up and makes it sound better. A really impressive noise machine 😎
  5. I agree wholeheartedly regarding the TE1200 Martin - glad you are liking too!
  6. Hi John, No idea what “flat” settings are I’m afraid. AFAIK mine is still stock, I’ve done nothing to it since buying it from here in about 2018/2019 IIRC. Sorry I can’t be any more help!
  7. I think you’ll be very happy. I run into either the hi or low gain input depending what I want to do - the hi gain giving more break up earlier on. And the EQ can be used to help as well - it’s subtle and not overbearing so pushing the bass for example will help load the valves without becoming mushy. HTH
  8. That’s an insane price! Not sure enough people appreciate how good these are - good luck with the sale!
  9. Thankfully the VS212 (and I presume the LB212) was super efficient.
  10. What @ossyrocks said ☝🏻 I had almost exactly that rig (CTM100 and VS212) and it was plenty for gigs, assuming they weren’t massive or you had PA support if they were.
  11. Oh my, that is exactly the Lionel spec I would choose. If you ever want to move it on, please let me know. I suspect you will enjoy it for many years though!
  12. I’m seeing @asingardenof in two weeks, and will be driving back down south to Surrey. Wrong side of the country but if it helps bring it closer to someone who can take it across then I’m happy to help
  13. Oh my days. This is causing me some serious wobbles in the whole abstinence challenge!
