1. Bassist since the age of twelve (now 24), I have a national diploma in music technology and have a good grasp of music business and theory. I am looking to join a well established/signed band because I have recently come to a halt with my current band after a year or touring. In that year i have toured/released and e.p got 9/10 in stalker magazine and a great review in sphere, kcfm radio, and festivals, national magazine coverage (devolution) ect ect. I have my own rig and transport. I am a dedicated musician, the time i have spent working in the business has brought me in contact with some fantastic people and bands and i really do not want that to end. (Highlight of last year was meeting Colin Richardson who has worked with machine head, slipknot, happy Mondays sisters of mercy u name it) My music taste is metal/doom metal i also like alot of prog like tool but my heart lies in doom metal bands like acid bath. Id consider myself a very technical and capable bassist but with the discipline to know what suits a song. Its a long shot but if anyone out there needs a bassist and you think we have similar tastes and ambitions then let me know im an easy going person who is passionate about music. 3. I have a fender 2x10 100watt bass amp and the left speaker makes a rattle noise on the low notes i was wondering if anybody knows how to fix it, im hoping its not blown.

5.
What length and finish did you guys go for with the mono?
hi ther sorry its taken so long to answer i went for Mono GS1 Sharkskin Guitar Strap (Black) and i got long and its just right for me.
6. I have played bass since the age of 12 and i am now 23, i have been in many bands and shows ranging from Cabaret – working on the club scene, to full blown metal and rock bands. I am in a band at the moment but things are winding down after touring and loosing the drummer. I have also experience working on lighting rigs. I studied music to a btec national diploma level but want to delay university and get back to playing live. I have done some recording and have studio experience from college. I try and fit into most genres because to me music is all the same and as long as it’s from the heart who really cares. I am looking to travel places and have even taken interest into doing some work on ferries or cruise ships but I am struggling to find the right contacts at the moment, if anyone can help then please do its somthing i would really like to do. I would ideally like to join a well established band that has gigs lined up. I have more to say but will keep it short and sweet. Send me a message if you are interested. Thank you for reading, carl

8. I guess everyone is built differently so its not going to suite everyone, but because i move around alot and mosh ectect conventional straps where of little use. when i had my nylon strap it cut my neck and shoulder to bits the leather straps rubbed and with it been so hot on stage really did not feel nice. even when i had padded supports on them its still not comfort like the gs1 provides.
9. I know how you feel, I too am dyslexic when I was at school I was called lazy and made to sit closer to the blackboard. The only person who was on my side was a famer/music teacher at my school and he said I could join the brass band and after years of playing my studies improved and i learnt that even though my mind worked differently I excelled creatively where others did not. I think you should focus on that and remember Einstein was dyslexic and if it’s good enough for him...............
10. I must say in all the years i have played bass i have never had a strap like the mono gs1 its just awsome in everyway better than leather and nylon the material they use they call sharkskin but it reminds me of seal skin similar to the material that the rnli use in thier gloves. its water proof rugged durable has an inbuilt pocket. i am going to get a wireless holder for it to finish it off. but i must say for any1 who has to use thier bass on a daily basis, buy one you will not look back. anyone else got one..?
11. Sorry about the piss poor photo but its the only one i have out of loads that show my whole bass.
