1. Sorry for the lateness of reply. Many thanks for the response, much appreciated.
2. Hey all, I have searched the net for a wiring diagram for my Ibanez ATK400 but i can't seem to find one anywhere. On the off chance does anyone on here have one? The bass is buzzing badly now and when I opened up the back there was a black wire that was unattached - which I'm presuming is the earth wire. I've attached a photograph of the back of the wire incase anyone with a much better knowledge than me could point me in the right direction. Many Thanks,
3. Recently bought an Ashdown MAG 300 410 combo. A couple of the pots are really crackly. It lived in a rehearsal space for a couple of years and it was quite damp which i think caused the problem. I'm a complete novice at replacing these. I dont think its a case of spraying it with servisol. can anybody tell me where the best place to get replacement pots and what ones i would need? I know a guy who could fit them for me but just thought i'd put it out on here to get some opinions first. Best, Elephantstone
4. Hi guys, Been a while since I've posted, however I'm more of a reader. I am thinking of selling/trading my Ibanez ATK 400. I've did some research on the forum for similar models I think a price of £300 is about right. From searching the serial number on the net is seems its a Korean model made in 2001. Maple neck and fingerboard, Mahogany body sunburst finish, J/MM configuration pups, through-body or bridge stringing option, 3 band active EQ, five bolt neck joint. As many of you will know these basses had problems with crackly jack sockets. I have replaced this with a better quality Neutrik jack and have NEVER had any problems since. In terms of condition id say its in very good, no bucklerash etc. See pictures below. Only 2 marks worth noting are ding on fretboard at 10th fret (Shown in pictures) also theres a weird fret marker at the 4th fret thats always been there since i got it. (See picture to see what i mean) The pics show on of the tone knobs missing. I do have this and it'll be put back on prior to sale/trade. In terms of swaps i'd be looking for something similar price but mainly CIJ/MIM Fender P or J I've done a fair few swaps on here so check feedback. Bases in Central Scotland Best, Elephantstone
5. just to add i too have this same bass and they are awesome, the buyer will not be dissapointed.
6. and so the gear cull continues.... Up for grabs here is my Hartke Ha2000 Bass amp. Again in immaculate condition. I bought it on here for Kingbee along with an Ampeg SVT 15e (Now sold) The reasons for selling are simple, Medium term: I want a 4x10 combo, preferably a Hartke 3500. Short term: I need the money, gotta get my car fixed. This amp comes already mounted in an SKB case, this is in good condition, couple of minor scuffs but all in all good condition. Pictures to come at lunch time. p.s i will remove my bands stickers from the top of it prior to sending pps i know my car is a mess Not sure what to ask for however goign on the condition accompanied by the rack case being included i am ideally looking for £130 I have done a few deals on here, have a look at my feedback for references. Buyer pays for shipping ES
7. Zeuhl (Denis) bought my Ampeg SVT 15e on Saturday. We had excellent communication both on here and via texts. We had an excellent wee chat and stuff. He was excellent to deal with and both of us came away happy with the deal. I would not hesitate to deal with him again! All the best mate Gary
