We are advising members to place a piece of paper/Post-It Note in sales advert pictures.
This is to stop anyone stealing your pictures to make a fake listing elsewhere or on BC. We are really pushing this idea at the moment as we have seen an increase in cloned listings from other marketplaces.
Place it somewhere where it can't be cropped out - under the strings, on the body of the bass etc.
Thankfully we have such a trustworthy membership here that scam listings are spotted quickly but the more we encourage and normalise this practice, the better.
