  2. Guess if the venue stays open longer as the result of this event they keep their jobs longer?
  3. 'kin 'ell, that's a beaut
  4. Beautiful bass. Congrats.
  5. Was just thinking about this - so what is ever the benefit of having a 4 ohm cab?
  6. The time has come to sell my generation 3 Super Compact. Amazingly powerful cab in a very lightweight package. Condition is very good, with just a couple of small marks, which you can check out in the photos. £525. Collection only on this one.

  7. You did well there IMO. Our very own @BassManGraham.
  8. @EddieG - How's the bass, does it play well? Mine didn't... Intonation was way off and with a fixed bridge it could be rectified. Hope you're enjoying you're new bass. Assuming you have it that is... Sadly the betting man in me would wager everything I own of you not having it.
  9. Can the bar staff say the same?
  10. It’s a long way from Kent but I’m almost tempted to travel down following that post @Marvin 🙏

  13. Yeah this is the 2.0 version, the first one was quite a different beast altogether. I assume the bars were added later on. Don't see many of these about!
  14. Hi, around 4,3 kgs
  15. Looking at the line up for this event, most if not all the bands and artists have done and will be doing paid gigs at this very venue. No one's getting ripped off, no one is being denied a booking and getting paid for it. It's one if the last venues standing in the area. Local musicians are supporting a venue that has supported them. It may not make a difference, people don't seem to want to go out and see anything other than tribute acts, or cover bands performing very well known songs. It may only give it a short term boost in publicity etc but at least the musicians involved can say we support you.
  16. I’m guessing that - with some inevitability -the answer is no 🤔
  17. Bump for price drop £2100
  18. Price drop bump - £1100 / £1050 with another non Elixir set of strings.
  19. Hey gang! I'm a P guy, but one of my bands needs a J really, so I've been on the lookout for something for a while. Was hoping for something LPB or Charcoal Frost, but this popped up, and I couldn't resist. It's a Custom Shop Journeyman relic, so think closet classic with slightly less shine and the occasional ding. I know relics are polarising, but I think they nailed it with this one - it glows. Medium-weight alder body (guessing 9lbs or thereabouts), quartersawn neck, slab board.. and stacked knobs which will take a little getting used to in the heat of the moment. Haven't gigged it yet, but it sounds gorgeous so far. Really rich and resonant. Roll on next weekend! ]]
  20. Legendary octave pedal in highly desirable relic’d finish 😉. Works fine, just looks knackered, much like myself. Born in Japan, May 1985 (the pedal, not me). Free UK postage. Cheers! Sam.

  21. EHX English Muff'n (which is not Big Muff based, despite the name, but based on a Marshall preamp, and is a genuine tube overdrive).

  23. I had one of these some years ago and it had been a special issue I was told. It was a lovely instrument - so well made with top quality parts. The body was two pieces of book-matched ash with a clear honey finish that showed off the grain perfectly. Good luck with the sale.
