  1. Past hour
  2. It’s a useful pedal. I think I have had one for 25 years?
  3. Well worth it.
  4. Tc electronic RH450, RS112, RS212, all in fantastic condition. I was kidding myself when I thought I was going to be a gigging bass player. Sounds great. A friend of mine borrowed it for a local gig and he is a great bass player and it was awesome. Included in the sale is the foot controller for recalling presets and a rather dashing gig bag for the head. Will split.
  5. I guess Lego are fully aware of how these things work, BUT since they could be bothered to post it, maybe they are indeed willing to put it out - provided most parts are standard and don't require new molds to be made. Maybe every part must be standard; I don't know how expensive molds are these days. If they do, then I gather only massive sales will see another model later - - though I think the model pool is very tiny indeed. As to the "homage", I didn't understand your post. Did you mean the Behringer Model D or a possible future homage that is more its own thing?
  6. Try the low fibre cables, they're far easier on the teeth...
  7. Generally I eat most things - guitars are probably safe and cables a bit too chewy
  8. May consider part trades, particular something Stingray ish, 4ohm 2x10”, class D bass amp that does 2 ohms, John East Uni pre, lightweight basses.
  9. That's a shame and puts you in a difficult position. Audience feedback sounds like the only thing that might make a difference but that's awkward, you can hardly canvas the crowd on the night like a focus group.
  10. Same, its a real cracker Custom Sandberg and light, whats not to like. I'm confident any buyer will be extremely happy. Kept me GAS free for 5 strings and for 5 years too, which is a miracle by my GAS standards 😂
  11. Yes still available and about 9.5 lbs.
  12. I agree but the trouble is, matey will hear the guitar-and-kick-drum-heavy mix and say ‘Yeah, nothing wrong with that!’
  13. Whassat, then..?. 🤔
  14. Done the thrust bearing mod yet?
  15. Just a quickie 😁 Could I send out a monitor mix from my mixer using the control room connection?
  16. I'm a drummer as well as a bassist and I absolutely hate the hand grenade kick sound out of the PA. So, I'm that band member that does the sound engineering at gigs.... but only because no one else wants to do it. I hate juggling bass/drum duties with mixing, it takes my focus away from playing but hey, what can you do hire a sound guy, like we can afford that. Anyway, one way to do deal with it, and what we do, is record the gig. I do it two fold, from the desk and with a field recorder in the room to get the audience perspective. As a band we play it back to analyse our performance and see what needs tweaking, that includes the PA mix which the band are quite particular about.
  17. The motto of all Gear Abstinence members, every year...
  18. I am looking for an Eastman Mandolin, and Richard's Guitars seems to be the only UK shop with the full range of instruments in stock. Four hours on the train, but nevertheless on my "must visit" list.
  19. I had mine made as I wouldn't want to do such things myself. Refinishing is too much of the same thing over and over, apply clear coat, sand, repeat, and I'm not good in those.
  20. And their tribute act, the Sugar Tax Babes.
  21. Thanks and good idea. Problem is, I am not really into neck shaving and refin. However, if someone knows someone who can do it, then it could be an option.
  22. The middle wenge neck one on the white bass is particularly attractive IMO. Can I ask whether you felt they were noticeably different in weight to maple? And have you done any finishing on that one?
