  1. Past hour
  2. It always amuses me when I buy something expensive and am instantly bombarded with ad's for more of the same. I appreciate that it's AI at work, but you'd think the wallies who programme it would build in something that recognises that few if any of us buys something costing a ton of money every week.
  3. Just the Jazz I see
  4. Thanks for this, I did find this yesterday, unfortunately none in stock, it states “coming soon”, I have emailed them today to see how long they will be coming into stock.
  5. Fender Japan RV-24 2024 Vintage Reissue Reverb? Sold here in two colours but listed in twenty different finishes on the Ishibashi website.
  6. Im thinking along similar lines. I tend not t be an early adopter and wait for things to mature a bit more. That said, for a v1 device and firmware, this seems pretty mature as it is. I’m still enjoying my helix LT and will continue to for the time being, but it is a bigger device than I’d ideally like, however.
  7. Do you remember Rock-a-Cha that was upstairs in Kensington Market on High St Ken?
  8. The letter says what I'd expect. I can't see any reason why the legislation would place an onerous burden on Basschat.
  9. Who don't do the TI version? The Jazz Bass equivalent is this: https://guitarpartscenter.eu/en_US/p/BOSTON-JB-410-bass-pickguard-TI/11291
  10. Just sending you a PM that may interest you, Steve...
  11. Not possible to get to London that early on a Sunday
  12. Too cool for me. I was a devotee of Flip of Hollywood in Covent Garden. The jeans were expensive but they had some great old work shirts and I seem to remember getting some Carhartt trousers there (but the memory isn't what it was so I may have imagined that). I definitely bought my 6th form school 'suits' from there in 1989 - 50s sports jackets, shirts with absurd collars and some very interstingly-cut trousers. All for the price of a Fosters or Top Man shiny number. I must have looked an absolute case but I loved it. About 5 years ago I was in a micro-pub with a mate and some guy recognised me as ´that kid from school who had the crazy vintage gear' and said he had always thought I was really cool. So someone liked it. Admittedly that someone was drinking on his own on a Wednesday night, but you take what you can get, I suppose!
  13. Read that as "strap ons" at first, and got a bit confused.
  14. I'd imagine that depends on the order value - yours is twice as much as mine, Andy. And apologies to Neephid for all us buyers hijacking his NBD thread!
  15. Me too. Got a couple of cracking tort 51 scratchplates from a seller in China and 6 clip on tuners from a promo Reverb were doing. Clip-ons were £3 each so I wasn't too fussed that 2 were faulty.
  16. Ah. Ok. I got free postage…weirdly
  17. Feet don't affect the sound but they do make the cab more durable. I can't fathom any reason to not have them. However, the Markbass cab corners do extend past the panel, so they do act as feet of a sort. They also interlock when cabs are stacked, so that's the reasoning behind them. For added protection I'd add feet to the cab that's going to be on the bottom of the stack.

  19. I had one of these, sometime back. I made the mistake of selling, when attempting to thin the herd.... and I missed it. But hey, one came up for sale on here, and it was local to me - so I decided to take a trip down memory lane and gave it a whirl. The upshot of that, was me buying it. These China-made Classic Vibe basses are indeed absolutely brilliant, and well worthy of cult status.
  20. Also selling a Yamaha Pacifica 112 for £500 (down from £900 last week!) and a 'new' Ibanez Talman for £560 despite them being £250 new from any retailer. Pipe dreams or scammer??
  21. No, that's including the postage
  22. Have they gone up £7?!
  23. It’s long gone…
  24. While the deadline is midnight tomorrow , I won’t get to setting the vote thread till tea time when I get home from work , as long as it’s here by then all is cool , and if they’re anything like mine , they are never finished , they are set out into the world on a hope and a prayer to find their way in this cruel, cruel world. 😁
