I always have a laugh depping for the Punk Pirates down here. Fast and loud being the order of the day and ignore any flubs, just go with it 🤘🤣 Trying to get some time we can all make for another noise making session with my first band from 40 years ago. Started in WMC’s with and older bandleader and then morphed into a spiky originals new wave band when he left. We get together every so often to blast through the songs and reminisce 🥰🙂

Used to have a PJB cub for this exact purpose, which I sold a few years back, now they're quite pricey! Will be doing a few stripped back performances with a couple of bands, the other members primarily playing acoustic guitars over the next few months. Looking for something highly portable, lightweight, decent tone/low end, and loud enough. Will the PJB Double Four do the job, or should I be considering some other options?

Most of the radios are doing the same on a daily basis... Thankfully, most of the time you can turn them off, unlike these public nuisances daring to call themselves musicians. -

I was once asked to join an All About Eve tribute band, well after their chart successes. As much as I like AAE, I politely demurred.

Ah we just did masters of the universe and you shouldn't do that.

That is amazing. If you'd have sweetened the deal with a few tunes from his collaborations with Jan Garbarek, I'd have been there in a heartbeat.

Paranoid has sme nice subtleties if you listen carefully.

Thing is, the songs I would choose aren't very pub friendly. Sonic Attack

Legends are out of my wheelhouse (as corporate types say) but someone who knows will be along soon enough. W is the Korean factory that has always made them. I know that. I would then guess it's 2017 and the 329th of that year. But that is just a guess. Wait for someone who knows.

My regular barber wants to start a band playing Status Quo songs in the style of Motorhead. It could be a winning idea. The songs are OK, they just sound boring because of the way they're played

Thanks! It’s the only way I play it! I can’t imagine any other way to play it. All of my basses are wired to play in stereo. -
Thanks Bill, I appreciate your help.

Not enough to make it worthwhile. And it's not underpowering the cab per se. It just lacks sufficient power to overcome the cab's poor sensitivity in the lows. You're fighting against Hoffman's Iron Law. It's a futile effort.
