Hi, I've just changed all of my current cymbals to Meinl Custom Classic Darks, so I'm now looking to sell all of the cymbals that were on my kit before the Meinl's came along! This is a full comprehensive set of cymbals that all sound superb. All have been used, some are older than others but all are in great condition and have no cracks anywhere. You can see the Sabian Pro Ride and the Zildjian Avedis Crash logos are faded a little, but this doesn't in any way impact the sound quality. All in, to buy these new would have cost you somewhere around £1200. The cymbals included are all listed below, I'll also throw in a decent quality Cymbal gig bag so they can all be carried away easily! Zildjian ZXT 14" Hi-Hats Paiste PST5 16" Thin Crash Zildjian Avedis 16" Crash Meinl HCS 10" Splash Istanbul Agop Xist 18" Crash Paiste 101 18" Crash Sabian Pro 20" Ride Paiste PST8 18" Rock China Collection from Wickford, Essex would be ideal, but I can probably post them if needed for around £20 as I have some spare bubble wrap and a box I can send them in - as well as them being in the cymbal bag.

I've been using its predecessor, the Tecamp Puma 900, for many years. Very happy with it. And it has options for colouring the tone or just leaving it uncoloured.

Basses you don't regret selling (or regret buying)

I didn't regret selling any bass. Some were good basses, and some weren't, but they were all sold because they were replaced by something better. -

You can get that weight with non destroyed wood. When you think you've read and seen all, someone is there right the next corner waiting with his bullshìt marketing. Next one will be totally rotten wood falling apart glued with punks' spittings? That said, I'm on the tonewood side, but when stupidity hits the target, all I can do is 🤦🏻 -
The list updated with recent changes. OK that's weird. There are none of the changes in that quote

14 TX64 Pads and Mounting arms Pads work perfectly well responding to all pad trigger areas and velocity. I originally had 3 full kits at my rehearsal room but have no need for them and most of the parts/frames etc have been sold. selling as a job lot as I’d rather not split and do individual postage. Collection is good too, NE26 or NE6 or could possibly drive to meet depending on distance. Any questions please ask. Thanks David I

If it works, it works! They're bloody weird things. Rattle from the endpin? Right ... a cushion strapped to the back will fix it!😂

I don’t regret selling my Hofner violin bass either. Sounded bloody fantastic in the studio but it was such an arse to play and, like you, I was worried I would break it all the time. Never once did I play it live but it made it onto a good few records over the few years I had it. Now happily replaced by a Wilcock bass which does that sound equally well and gives me loads more options. -
Headphones would be Tier 2 at worst. I'll add you to the list on p2.

I don't think I signed up to this, but meant to. As it is, I'm still in. The last thing I bought and paid for was in November (HX Stomp XL). I refuse to upgrade anything until I've at least giged some of the cool stuff I have, though I am open to making a level 2 infraction if headphones (for production puproses) are permitted under level 2 rather than level 1.

I did, in fact several sets of Dunlop tapered sets were used on my Euro 5 LX and never had this issue. I had with other basses though, albeit with normal strings and the culprit was always the distance between the pickups (magnets) and the string, them being too close...

Nothing new there I'm afraid, Charlie Hunter has had that pickup and output set up on his guitars for as long as I've been listening to him, possibly the best part of 2 decades! Jeez I'm old! Back on the topic of the bass at hand, I really don't see anything special to it, whatsoever, but some folks are willing to pay lots for custom instruments, that others think is silly, it's just another example of marmite in the bass world... -

Fingers crossed for both the safe delivery and the preferred neck shape 🙂 Given your past with the necks haven't you thought about buying a run-of-the-mill used euro, shave the neck to your liking and refinish? (that's what I've done with the pink one)
