What a tricky question. Playability also to me also means comfort and versatility so the red 4003s would be the most playable. With having a maple board it’s a bit snappier so is less of a one trick pony and of course no body binding means no forearm injury. However…..having thought on, can I keep all 3 please?!?

It's grand, he has set it up beautfully to do a "penny drops and I've ruined my career but now I'm digging up" video where he cries a little, finally acknowledges what he did wrong, outlines the mental struggles he has gone through which we don't understand and promises he's on the path to redemption to make everyone, who called him out for being a c**t, feel guilty. They're all the rage, these days. It's really society's fault, don't you know 🤣

Dividends should be to distribute profits... sadly if a company is large enough it seems they can be used to distribute borrowed income.

Killerfridge is correct. Shouldn’t be an issue (other than EMGs which are a different animal). If you’re looking to change pickups can suggest you check out Catswhisker Pickups… hand wound in Birmingham and really nice. Plus he’s happy to tweak them to your tastes. Have some of theirs in my Frankenjazz and they’re fabulous. And really good vfm compared to the big brands like SD, Aguilar etc. if you’re interested I had a humbucking jazz set then swapped the neck pickup for a soapbar… just because why not. All fabulous pickups! https://www.catswhiskerpickups.co.uk/bass.htm

I always had really pleasant exchanges with Roy Chudobskyi there. He was great at knocking a few quid off list prices for me especially on used items. Was he on director level? I'll miss dealing with him.

I started with an original, early one, it sounded great but did make a noise when switching in and out. I now use the Clone Theory on a Zoom MS60B... Old photo, the pedal board is a lot tidier than that now...

I was getting worried having read this thread, as I had an item bought from the eBay which was delivered by Evri. The tracking said the package was signed by the householder. I was at work, and I live alone. The package had been left in a communal area. Fortunately it was still there when I arrived home.

An Ash bodied model came up for sale in a UK shop (that shall remain nameless) and, I had such a hard time getting any information about the bass and was told the action was an issue that I left it well alone. It was almost as if they didn’t want to sell anything! The PB70US-ASH is “the daddy”, I have room in my heart for one of those ☺️

Selling my lovely Mikey Way Mustang in immaculate condition don’t think there is a mark on it, no neck pocket cracks, no dings, nowt! It’s fitted with an EMG 35HZ pickup, no modifications were necessary and now has a great pickup and new large pots and wiring, all of the original little pots, pickup and knobs will come with it so could easily be returned to stock (but why the heck would you!!) It now sounds great, the humbucker is now clear and punchy compared to the very wooly original. Even unplugged the bass is resonant and plays really nicely It is now a very usable and gigable bass and looks as cool as fcuk !! The large sparkle is drop dead gorgeous especially under lights £600 collected Oakham LE15 6NP

I'd never heard of Hz/Volt, but had not been exposed to Korg or Yamaha stuff, being only with "home brew" stuff in my teens. One useful property of silicon transistor physics is the exponentional relationship between base voltage and collector current. When calibrated, every volt increment gives a doubling of collector current and hence an octave shift in oscillator pitch. So easy to implement but very temperature dependant which needed a solution. One of which was to build a heater inside the chip which held the temperature at some higher value probably 70 - 80C. The second generation MiniMoog oscillator circuit used 78.4C -
