When I think of Theivery Corporation I think of Shaolin Satellite. Takes me back to... jeez twenty five years or more, to when I first heard it on a Kruder & Dorfmeister DJ Kicks album. The K&D Sessions is one of my very favourite downtempo albums. You might like that one too.

Yes, I know - I’ve already added my 2p’s worth. Either the ability to un-route a channel from the LR mix (I.e. to fake a subgroup by feeding a post-fade aux into a spare channel) or a multifunction aux/subgroup implementation. I think the outcome is probably as much a marketing & product range segmentation issue as anything technical.

I don't doubt the quality and the sound, but those SL must feel so weird at first. 2.2kg or 2.7kg is ridiculously light!

So Nick was a friend to many BC members and his passing has left a hole with many of us. Obviously this also impacted on Nick's close family, in particular his sister, Ally, who is selling his gear but, as you would expect from a non bass player she is feeling overwhelmed....no knowledge of the value of any of Nick's gear or what it is. Ally has posted a general message inviting offers on Facebook. This post is meant to highlight the sale of Nick's gear, where it can be found (links to follow) and ask for help with valuing the gear. 14 TX64 Pads and Mounting arms 2 Modules which work fine but the RAM batteries have died and so Memories don’t store and theres a warning on power up. Dismiss it and the Modules work fine. No power supplies and all Pads work perfectly well responding to all pad trigger areas and velocity. I originally had 3 full kits at my rehearsal room but have no need for them and most of the parts/frames etc have been sold. selling as a job lot as I’d rather not split and do individual postage. Collection is good too, NE26 or NE6 or could possibly drive to meet depending on distance. Any questions please ask. Thanks David I -
I had the 2x8" combo too - really nice sound and very cool styling, but insanely heavy for a small combo. Made by Carlsbro apparently. OP amp looks a bargain for proper quality kit - Today
