  3. Lovely bass, classic look. GLWTS
  4. Yeah. I *think* what I need to do is to jumper the two toggle switches to rule the two toggles out. If I can get it to sound "correct" like that then I might be able to brave trying to get those switches out --- though it will be a gigantic PITA.
  5. I cant see the Jumbo frets....
  6. @itsmedunc bought some MarkBass rack ears from me. All went well
  7. Looking forward to our electric headline show in Swindon this Thursday, along with our fantastic handpicked special guest. Free entry.
  8. This isn’t exactly what you are asking for, but I just google the lyrics and paste them into Pages on my iPad so I can format them in a way that helps me break them down and read them. When I play live I just convert them into a PDF for quick swiping.
  9. have limited experience with preamps but the Sadowsky has been good for me maybe 30 years(?) it sort of adds "body"
  10. Variations on a theme, I like it. Cracking post. 😊 Mark
  11. It will be a few weeks before I have them all in-front of me. Far as I know the Pearl tracks like the OC2, its the original John Davis Nerve sound, just the oc2 is more robust for the road so he ended up moving to that. I had one 10-15 years ago but I wasn’t as familiar with using octaves for synth sounds, now I’m excited to try it again and see how it fairs against the more common suspects. My thoughts on octavers are there are generally two types, the more accurate natural sounding mxr bod, aguilar octomizer etc and then the really synthy OC2 type, that the Pearl and I assume T-16 fall into. As it’s so hard (expensive) to find an octaver that is footswitchable between mixed and 100% wet, I find it’s easier to have two. So far (and I haven’t played my recent BOD but I’ve had 2 previously) this is most musical and natural sounding octave I’ve played. I’m heavily inspired by Michael League’s use of his and that’s why I’ve picked up another. Then the T-16 and Pearl are going to fight it out, it’ll probably come down to space/size but I’m keen to see if they beat out my Sonicake Octaver which (to me) is a very accurate OC2 clone for next to nothing. Attached is the route I’m thinking, only the oc2 would be the pearl and the phat phuk the Cream Pie Deluxe (as neither are on the planner). I don’t need it all at once but it’s melting my brain trying to find a way to have small pedal boards for little projects here and there when I’d like all those creative options just there to indulge when it suits. To keep inline with the thread, my latest pedal purchase is a Mojo Hand 442 filter, my favourite but I’ve so far only been able to track down the guitar version 🤷‍♂️ probably fine, worst case I think it’s a simple mod to make it the bass/red version. Deco v2 I’ve had sat for like 4 months waiting for me to grab it. Capo is the third I’ve owned and relatively new to me. Bod as above Wetter box I need to buy and I’m still deciding if this is excessive, mainly depends on if I stick with the capo and deco. Pearl (shown as an oc2) as above

  15. Just trying to help! Have you tried fender? They make hundreds of products, they never list individual parts like this online but I bet it’ll be in a spares list somewhere. Best of luck.
  16. Domnington 1994 - Biohazard, then Pantera, then Sepultura - was nuts… …and then bizarrely followed by Extreme 😂 Enjoyed the YT vid, cheers for posting.
  17. Quality
  18. That's a beautiful story.
  19. Battle Axe - Deftones
  20. Grizzly Bass OD/Distortion/Tone shaper - very recently bought on here from @IanA (so I have used his photos and description and linked the ad below). It’s a really good pedal, you can do an awful lot of different things with it - and it does them all really well, but it’s more than I need atm and if I’m honest I just like buying & selling pedals and trying new stuff 😁 I’m not really an overdrive person, but that being said I’m interested in trades/deals for a Trickfish Overdrive Preamp, a Genzler 4 on the floor OD, a DCX Bass or a Genzler Magellan DI (with appropriate cash adjustments). Other than that I’m maybe interested in trades for preamps or compressors but really I’ve priced it cheap to sell £125 - fiver postage if needed Previous ad 👇

  21. I think it's a missed opportunity that Sandberg don't offer a detuner as I think there would be a good take-up.
