  2. Don't know yet (have not had the time), but have seen 1V/Oct, 5V triggers (the 2600 reportedly being the odd one out (10V IMS) even though it should normally work from 6V and up), and CV ranges from -2.5V to 2.5V (but I think I somewhere also saw -5V to 5V without me remembering the product that relates to). One day I hope to sit down and find everything out for all the units I have and will buy later. Right now stuff goes on in my life that keeps me from doing that. I don't know to what degree stuff has been standardised lately, but Eurorack is reported as being non-standardised. I know zilch about Eurorack.

  4. That does look really interesting. Oddly enough, this came up on YouTube today and it looks and sou d absolutely brilliant and the features are amazing. It's quite pricey but not silly money.
  5. Behringer Shark DSP110 - Feedback Destroyer, Compressor, Mic Preamp, filter, noise gate, delay line. Bought this from ebay to fix a feedback problem at the church a few years ago, managed to fix the problem another way before it arrived and then never got around to using it. Found it when clearing a box of cables. Comes with the power supply and manual. Looks to have been well used. £35 plus post or make me an offer. Thanks Andy ]
  6. yes a total balls up , the pick ups are v deep and the body depth wasn’t deep enough to accommodate , the plate wasn’t even recessed which made it worse so i declined it but mark did refund my money
  7. The great "they" have a lot to answer for!
  8. Well, they choose to, we just have to... 😁 It's not like they pay any tax..
  9. Only 3 months old. Boxed with instructions. Works perfectly. Comes with matching blue switch topper. £75 including UK postage Cost £105.
  10. Fixed it! I'd let the robbing bar stewards fail!
  11. I was looking at getting the OG Enzo just before the release of the X. I'd be interested to hear your opinions once you've got an X in your mitts. I think there's probably pro's and cons for each pedal. The X's poly preset sounds are spread thoughout the 99 presets. Some are very polished, you wouldn't know there's a bass guitar anywhere in the signal path (same for some of the other presets but every aspect of preset sounds can be edited). A couple of poly presets did seem to struggle a little with tracking, for me it was the higher notes in a chord. Sadly I didn't have time to see what and if I could change this in the editting settings. Most, to my ears and playing tracked well on EUB and guitar though.

  13. Well, my gentle humour seems to have triggered some people. Please remember this 'news' item was a comedic invention.

  15. Lightweight cab (MBE 115) loaded with Faital Pro 15PR400 NEO Driver (800w) 8 ohm this is a single carry load in if you use a small class D amp This is a considerably upgraded driver which replaced the 200w GK NEO original (the speaker alone was £200 ) last year. It has seen light home use only in this time with my Trace Elliot Elf in a practice capacity. Pickup preferred in South Wales. any queries fire away

  16. What was it like before the refin? I put an East preamp in the NS5-XL I used to have. I got mixed black and gold knobs from John to make it look a bit different. Someone refinished that in the end.
  17. Zoom MS-70CDR(+) perhaps, the Plate Reverb and HD Hall Reverb have a Lo and Hi which adjust the damping on low and high frequencies.
  18. Agreed. It's still an 7oz bridge, it's It's not like putting a BBOT in there.

  20. According to the blurb, OnSong does MIDI, and you can get Bluetooth MIDI (eg https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008408092026.html) so maybe select the song on OnSong and have it send the MIDI PC signals to select the patch and mode (if you want to be in stompbox mode for some and snapshot mode for others).
  21. Speaking as a very primitive player, who plays pretty lightly, I found it a little tricky getting it quiet enough to not distort, but loud enough to provide sufficient output for the sound guy. Having the gain low (even with the output turned right up) left the signal a bit quiet for the FOH. But, as soon as I played any harder, it began to clip. I got there in the end, but was a fine balance. BTW, while looking in my manual, I spotted the model number for the bridge pickup: Shadow SH951 - the problem is that it comes with a jack socket rather than a mini jack plug, so you‘d need a male jack to make mini-jack adapter. https://www.thomann.de/de/shadow_sh951_basspickup.htm
  22. Not so good for me - I looked at their map, I am not sure if I am in their range, if I am I am right on the edge!

What are the other string spacing offerings for the fivers?
  24. I can't imagine it would be possible to detect any sound difference by changing a bridge! But now I look at those figures it is tempting, my euro weighs quite a lot
  25. The open mics I go to are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays - not at major music venues either. The Tuesday one does sometimes have bands in, on a Saturday. Are you seeing a lot of Saturday night open mics in Bournemouth?
