Roland Bolt 60 The same Valve power section design as a Fender Deluxe Reverb Has Brand new Power Valves The Preamp needs attention as it is intermittently cracklly at the moment ( hence the price and parts listing classification) I guess it needs a service. I’ve been using it as a pedal platform bypassing the Solid State Preamp straight into the power amp and it that use case it’s given me no hassle. Collection only as lord know’s what devastation a courier might wreak! -

After creating this thread I carried on looking searching to see if I could find an answer and I came across the same TalkBass thread @Bassassin posted above, but I never got the chance to post back here after finishing my shift. The post in that thread with the same string retainers as I posted here is from 2020, so likely not AI, but it's a 104 page thread! Not gonna read all that. I never considered pins from the back of the bass. I just found it a really neat system. Mark

Indeed, the P fretless neck on the J bass at the top of the thread has piqued my interest. -
Righto - good news Earlpilanz (Brian) has messaged me and the pickguard is a “category 2” size - I paid for category 3 - so I got some money back. fair play to him for being up front; again why I use him frequently. he has mine - so if you want one doing, it’s the time.
