Yeah baby that's what I'm talking about 😜 Yesterday's office, Korg clip on tuner ➡️ Ibanez UB804 ➡️ Swiff Audio wireless ➡️ Ampeg SVT + 8x10. It was a livestream thing for Hot Vox Rising - Warchild Charity. The 'gig' was done to camera, on a multi camera set up soundstage. No audience apart from the techs. But they seemed to enjoy it. I'll post some footage/link when it's available. Arrived at 3:30pm. Done and away by 5:45pm. Pics during setup:

Options are fairly limited for that amount of inputs/outputs on a low budget. The only thing I'd suggest in that price bracket would be the Behringer X32 Rack, with an additional Behringer S16 stagebox to give you 32 inputs, 16 outputs, which probably comes in at just under £1k. This gives you enough inputs for everything you need now, plus spare capacity for any changing requirements in future, and 16 XLR outputs. The mixer has a total of 16 buses to be used for monitor mixes, subgroups, effects sends, so you could use 12 buses for 6 stereo IEM mixes, and have four spare for effects sends. Not my first choice of system, but my recommended choice at sub £1k prices. It's a very common choice for touring bands who can't quite stretch to a monitor engineer yet and are carrying a self contained rig. I'm not sure there's anything else in that price bracket that you can get enough outputs from to run stereo IEMs - and you absolutely want to run them stereo wherever possible, it's a huge difference.

I’d listened to the track and I now I have an insatiable urge to strut through town… 😊

For sale are my used but not abused EMS 500 19" rack cases. The 2 racks are available separately or together. Both racks are set up the same and currently assembled as 6U but can be reconfigured as 3U, 6U, 9U or 12U with removable top. The lower rack is currently assembled to a board with castors which isn't included in the sale and will be removed before shipping.........unless you really, really want it and then it would be an extra £20 and whatever the increased postage is. These are quite special cases as they are modular construction where you can increase or decrease the number of rack spaces by easily adding or removing side and end panels. All you need is an allen key! You can also use them with a mixer installed in the top and the top panel can be easily removed! See the photo of how I had the units set up for my band PA. (None of the rack equipment is included.) All catches etc are in good condition. Rack to rack depth is 48cm. Weight per 6U assembly is 18lbs / 8.2kg. See the attached brochure for more details. The 6U Gator version of this case weighs 13lbs so slightly lighter but is NOT as rigid, road resilient or has the flexiblity options. As these are modular I would propose they are dismantled and flat packed for shipping to reduce the cost. I'll give details on how to re-assemble if you need but its quite straight forward. I've estimated UK postage to be £15 per unit. 6U Rack Unit 1 - the upper 6U rack unit in the photos on its own - £90 6U Rack Unit 2 - the lower 6U rack unit in the photos on its own - £90 Both 6U rack cases - £160 Board with castors - £20 EMS.pdf

I have just gone through a lot of my studio / PA gear and removed the excess insert and patch cables etc. and have gathered together quite a collection of connectors. Some of the items are brand new never been used but all are in great condition and fully functional. I could be persueded to a bulk buy reduction. Postage would be based on how many and destination. The table below gives as much info on model / style as I know.

For sale is my Tech21 MidiMoose pedal. I have had 2 of these in the past and this one is now surplus to requirements. In great, fully functional condition with only slight scuffing on a couple of corners. The pedal is robust and great for sending midi messages to other midi equipment / synths / DAW / effects etc. I used it with my TC G-Major. Powered by either a wall wart (supplied) or more usually a single 9v battery. Here a link to the Tech21 website and operating manual - Tech21. The pedal is simple to use and integrates into any midi system. It has been superceded by the Midi Mongoose a slightly smaller unit with less function switches (usually £150-ish). Shipping in the UK £5.

For sale is my TC Electronic GMajor-2 multi effects unit in fully working condition and updated to the latest firmware. Pictures show it in its usual rack home (rack not included). Although most of the standard effects are aimed at the guitarist I have found the compressor, gate, flanger, phaser and octaver (up and down) etc. to be very useable for bass. I can either factory reset before shipping or leave the presets I have created intalled. It has built in EQ, noise gate, compressor, reverbs, delays, wahs, octaver, tremolo, phaser, flanger etc each of which can be switched in / out from the front panel as required. I have been using this via my amps effects loop and found the compressor (and all the effects) just add their effect without changing the fundamental sound of the bass. Comes with original box and operating manual. You can use the unit in your DAW as well as with your bass / guitar etc. Patches can be easily selected from the front panel or attach a midi-pedal (I used a MidiMoose which is for sale seperately on here). There is also some Vyzor software you can download from the net which allows you to interface your PC with the GMajor-2 to edit and backup your user patches. I have also attached the GMajor-2 and Vyzor manuals below. tc_electronic_g-major_2_manual_english.pdfVyzor_G-Major2_Quick-Start.pdf I estimate UK shipping about £10 to £15.

And just for information, there was another attempt made today on the same shipping option attempt that was made earlier. I have shut that account down but the guy is obviously still out there.

The UA Volt interface is the only thing physically plugged in to the Laptop, I'll look into that though - perhaps a virtual connection, or a competing driver or something else buried.

I was dubbed "Val Hooligan" by a former keyboard player, because Dunoon was always freezing when we rehearsed there. Are there no Little Feat tribute bands ? if not, there should be. I might even come out of retirement for one

they do make some amazing looking stuff - getting it from Canada ain't cheap but I just had to pick up the T2 as I've wanted a Maestro Rhythm and Sound ever since hearing Melvin Jackson's Funky Skull LP. At the risk of derailing my own thread...

Lightweight cab (MBE 115) loaded with Faital Pro 15PR400 NEO Driver (800w) 8 ohm this is a single carry load in if you use a small class D amp This is a considerably upgraded driver which replaced the 200w GK NEO original (the speaker alone was £200 ) last year. It has seen light home use only in this time with my Trace Elliot Elf in a practice capacity. Dimensions 40x50x60cm. Weight a paltry 15 KG Pickup preferred in South Wales. any queries fire away

wow that looks well spec'd and I'm a big fan of EBS gear, but on the expensive side for this one use - plus Templo recommend a dedicated PSU for the T2 as apparently it doesn't like multi-output PSUs. Fussy little thing isn't it.

Just remembered one I can never quite pull off. Daryl Jones part on the John Schofield tune 'Techno'. Can't make it sit right.

Wow, I’ve just been checking out the website and the other pedals on offer. They offer some really interesting products, I’d love to hear those 4 compressors!
