  1. Past hour
  2. I've just messaged you on Facebook about this! Will take it and collect.
  3. There are at least 2 sizeds of 5-string Jazz pickups. Fender ones are wider and the bridge is wider than the neck. Bass Collection and Sadowsky are much shorter, and the same length 94mm. There are probably other sizes too.
  4. I bought a 5-string J neck a little while ago which I have yet to use - I have plans. Profile feels nice.
  5. Maybe usable with other similar guitars? Unused so in mint condition. Postage possible…
  6. And in 3TSB too it would seem
  7. Follow You Follow Me - Genesis
  8. It's not obligatory to make it an 8. In a former social club band, the singer would make the middle 8 into anything from a middle 3.5 upwards, which did mean the rest of us needed to be on our toes (we did anyway for the random rearrangements of verse and chorus). But if 12 feels right, then 12 it should be (the middle 8 of our song in question is actually a middle 18).
  9. Are you blocking cookies
  10. They do look like those. I will pm you about payment etc….
  11. That's why I moved on from KZ. Yesterday I tried the IE400. As you said, they are not the same as IE100 in terms of size and fit. Both are really comfortable, but I found that I prefer the IE100 in that regard. When I have them on, no problem. However, soundwise, the IE400 are excellent. I love them. They sound deeper and with more bass than the IE100. I think I found my favourite IEMs
  12. Thanks. There’s nothing showing in my passwords for Basschat. I’ve checked the remember me box but doesn’t make any difference. ☹️

    Darkglass Anagram

It doesn’t have that thing where you load up a block and wonder what on earth they were thinking… if that makes sense.
  14. I've hit the same problem. Using an Aguilar OBP3 preamp. Now my fuzz pedal sounds like trash, though my cleans sound great! Looks like I'll have to house the preamp, and put it after the fuzz. Not great for making tone adjustments on the fly!
  15. Grover: bass side in pewter Warwick : treble side in black Both in mint condition. £6 each plus postage or £15 for both posted to the U.K. or will swap for a Gotoh bass side gold tuner……
  16. They're also selling kids clothes and toys for daft amounts. I wouldn't rule anything out, but what would I know?
  17. I haven't even adjusted the truss rod yet The nut slot on the E string needs a little file but other than that, it does play really well. I will roll the fingerboard edge at some point. The fretting is good, no sharp ends and well seated
  18. I’m sorry - I’ll be working Thursday. If you’re able to make it in to Leicester in the afternoon I could bring the guitar to work and meet there. Drop me a private message if that would work out for you 👍
  19. Had a quick look at the TV12 - it's quite the thing! It's really not something that would work in my context to be honest. The Vypr ... not seen much about it, but the Postive Grid app looks to be quite alluring. Will see how I get on!
  20. I've not seen a bass AND guitar Katana. They seem to be designed for one or the other which seems odd as you'd basically just need to have a FRFR cab and an amp that could model either/both. I do have fond memories of the Polytone Minibrute from the 80s though but those are bonkers heavy and rare and kind of collectible now.
  21. How does it feel and play? Did you need to do much corrective work on it? Looks great
  22. I can see the point but it's not a stretch to imagine they've squeezed a 75wpc stereo class d amp in the box. It's not going to go particularly low, but in a small space it ought to sound as good as a decent HiFi. I once managed a gig with a 40w Fender Rumble and you could hear my bass above the drummer! Admittedly, I rolled off all the low bass and it was mostly honk but you could tell what notes I was playing! Having tried one out in a store I think this could probably hold its own in a rehearsal space if I absolutely had to use it (well, with our current drummer, maybe not the last one - he made a LOT of noise) but where it really comes into its own is if you want to do a cafe gig. Anyway. Will report back!
  23. Gosh, you have a far more interesting life than I do. The female drummer and I, (the whole band) spent a few hours last night tiding up our very first song that we have written. We're dead chuffed (thats a gross understatement) as neither of us have written anything musical before, and if you heard us play, you'd know why We have the basics but the middle 8 is actually a middle 12 and I have no idea how to get it down to a middle 8. The joys of learning. Anyway, I can now say I have written an original song and have recorded it with another musician. Will it make me a fortune, doubt it, but I've broken my duck here. Rob
  24. I had a flick through the basses - they look amazing!
  25. This is a more general question, which is why it's not in the Behringer thread. The mixer allows eq at 3 stages overall. Channel, monitor and FoH. I would expect (within a little), the first 2 can be pretty well set, with the FoH eq being tweaked for the room at each gig (if necessary). My question is with regard to the channel eq. Can this be set while using cans? It strikes me it's more to do with the actual sound of the voice and, if that's the case, wouldn't cans work at this stage, with the overall FoH eq compensating for the effects of the room you're in? It seems logical to me, but I'm barely a novice at this. Any advice gratefully received.
