Great to see you are getting busy gigs there Mike. I miss the punk band a lot and a lot more than i would ever have thought coming from a Classic rock and Prog. So much energy and power in the songs i just loved playing them especially SLF. Shame it fell thru. Dave

Hi folks Just having a further clear out of my stuff and found these wiring harnesses. Both came out of my former Jet basses so pretty new and actually pretty decently made. Certainly not the on/off controls that often come with cheaper MIC basses. £12 each posted to UK mainland Happy to answer any questions. Here are some pics: Jet JPB-300 bass Jet JJB-300 bass

Hi folks Parts draw clear out has revealed a brand new and unused Artec on-board overdrive/distortion/fuzz effect. More details here: https://www.artecsound.com/pickups/electronics/qdd.html I first came across these when I was following a series of modding threads by Low End Lobster and found this one about creating a Dark Ray bass for a fraction of the cost. So of course I bought one and promptly did nothing with it: Thanks for looking and here's a pic.

Putting up my natural gloss Spector CST5 . I’ve got two of these wonderful basses and one of them isn’t getting enough playing time .Bought in October 2024 from Bassdirect it’s had minimal use and is in fantastic condition. It’s a stock bass so comes with EMGX pickups in a PJ configuration with Darkglass legacy preamp . Also a Spector gigbag is included.

In that case you're done! You never need more than a riff, unless it's 2 riffs and a widdley bit. -

Aye... I find the best thing to do if you haven't got an immediate brainwave from the pic is to make whatever you like and call it something linked, or even invent an elaborate justification. I suspect many of us do that! -
Put the streamliner in a backpack. Then you're not carrying it. Problem solved.

That's the one!

I think they're bronze not brass ( copper + tin not copper + zinc) and really quite tough. Lots of people use stainless rounds with their Warwicks. Though they are usually quite bright for an already bright sounding bass. My dolphin has stainless frets which are super hard, and I've those nyxl (nickle?) strings on it ...so I can't really speak from experience.

Wish I had space for another bass.....I'll keep spreading the word tho.
