  2. The Schaller (by virtue of it's 3D moniker), allows a sideways adjustment via a threaded roller saddle, which is very clever 40+ year old tech. These units (albeit Hamer stamped) on both my Hamer basses.
  3. Great bass and bargain price and if you get a good one, They are as good as a top Fender
  4. This keeps coming up and I have to keep remindig myself, I'm here to SELL a bass, not to buy a new one... 😅
  5. Lever 42 Bras Late Bush BB Ring Weather Retort Spandau Vallet (sic)
  6. Wood Beez - Scritti Politti
  7. A few straps available, prices include UK postage: All measurements are from the strap pin holes. 1) Right-On, very high quality strap, outer leather, inner suede with bass clef on front, 8cm (3") wide. Variable length (2.5cm) intervals from a minimum of 97cm to a maximum of 129cm. Plectrum holders on the inside. Some minor marks (see photos) generally in excellent condition with little use, £33. 2) Comfort Strapp, leather ends look a little tired but are absolutely fine, 8cm wide, minimum length 88cm, maximum 110cm. £20 3) Unbranded strap, nice quality 7cm wide, feels like leather outer, suede inside. Excellent condition, minimum length 93cm to maximum of 130cm. I added an extra nut and bolt (with plastic cover) to stop the wider section from riding up. £18
  8. It's good to see Laney doing a quality analogue head. They're going head to head (Boom, tish) with the new GK Legacy analogue monsters that are due soon. I must say that it looks better from behind. The FET/Valve pre in my Laney is outstanding. And although the 500 has enough power, think about the difference between the GK 700RBii and the 1000RBii. Different heads for different applications, one being a cleaner head and the other being voiced for more grind. Maybe there's enough of a difference in voice.
  9. I had the 2x8" combo too - really nice sound and very cool styling, but insanely heavy for a small combo. Made by Carlsbro apparently. OP amp looks a bargain for proper quality kit
  10. 14 TX64 Pads and Mounting arms 2 Modules which work fine but the RAM batteries have died and so Memories don’t store and theres a warning on power up. Dismiss it and the Modules work fine. No power supplies and all Pads work perfectly well responding to all pad trigger areas and velocity. I originally had 3 full kits at my rehearsal room but have no need for them and most of the parts/frames etc have been sold. selling as a job lot as I’d rather not split and do individual postage. Collection is good too, NE26 or NE6 or could possibly drive to meet depending on distance. Any questions please ask. Thanks David I
  11. U.K. postage for this week a coming in around £110 on Shiply.com which would make the cab, 550 delivered so I’m happy to half the expense and sell for 500 delivered.
  12. U.K. postage is around 70 on Shiply so would let this go for £400 delivered Thanks
  13. I’m sorry - I’ll be working Thursday. If you’re able to make it in to Leicester in the afternoon I could bring the guitar to work and meet there. Drop me a private message if that would work out for you 👍
  14. A bitter / sweet gig this one (Chateauroux in France) 18 original compositions from a good friend who's now sadly very limited with regards to time left. 10 pce band and I only know one of them, two days of rehearsal, live recording third day and public concert on the last night. Quite an honour to be asked to provide the low end. Fingers crossed I don't mess up🤣

  15. Mint guard, Monty’s stuff on the fretboard- laaaahhhhverly!
  16. It‘s like witnessing a snuff film. You can‘t unsee it.
  17. Isn’t it though?
  18. Cracking basses these, like you I didn’t think I’d use the alpha omega bit but it is super fun and because it can be dialled in then its utility comes in very handy. The clean sound is great also, I just add a little bass and treble on the 2eq to get the sweet spot. Good luck with the sale.
  19. Ooh the 0xEAE Bass Driver! Loved the demo I heard. Was tempted to seek one out. How you finding it as my thought was lower gain as a preamp rather than a full bore filth unit
  20. Is there a standard for solderless looms? I did a quick search and only saw stuff on eBay and a company called Obsidian, which seems to have a proprietary system (if I understand correctly, you don’t need to make any changes to the pickups, just slot the wires in the terminal?) What if I want to use my existing electrics/harness and just want to have an easy, solderless way of changing pickups?
  21. Well, having just recently sold a Precision (and one I really liked at that), I've gone and got another one. Moreover, I had one of these before, and sold it, partly to "upgrade" to a Fender.... so it's full circle, again 😉 Actually, I previously owned 2 of these earlier versions of the Squier Classic Vibe P basses; one in pale blue, and the other in Fiesta Red. I swore blind I'd never sell either - but I was tempted away by other basses. Selling my CV's only in attempt to keep the numbers down. Anyhow, I really did miss both, especially the Fiesta Red version as it had become my fave colour, with Tort guard. My upgraded Fiesta Red P was a Mex Classic 50's, and I really liked that too. However, the slightly wider neck was beginning to feel less comfortable. So I found myself wishing it had a slightly narrower neck, like the CV. So local BC'er and top bloke Lewis put this up for sale, and I decided to swing by and take a trip down memory lane, and I was instantly taken back to the enjoyment I got, playing my old CV. It's a tad heavier than the Danelectro, or the Short Scale Ibanez I mostly gig with these days - but what the heck... I just decided to go for it. I can always use it for a first set, then switch to the Dano for the 2nd set anyway, eh? Will I ever learn? Probably not

  23. I've been trying to avoid watching the news recently, but I think I may have seen your talking donkey?
