  2. The Revelation is a cheap-as-chips but well made unlined fretless that simply works. This has been my main beater in a blues/ rock band since 2019. Sounds great and never let me down. I have upgraded the solid basics with a KiOgon loom, ToneRider pup and better quality, lighter machine heads. It works perfectly, but it's no beauty. The screws that hold the machine heads on actually come through ever so slightly the other side. There are sundry holes on the face of the body. Plus I have experimented with some relic-ing which I think looks superb but no one else does. Fitted with a set of brand new Maruszczyk flatwound strings. £75 collection only from the middle of the bulge of East Anglia. If it doesn't sell I'll just keep it as back up.

  3. I had the 2x8" combo too - really nice sound and very cool styling, but insanely heavy for a small combo. Made by Carlsbro apparently. OP amp looks a bargain for proper quality kit
  4. 14 TX64 Pads and Mounting arms 2 Modules which work fine but the RAM batteries have died and so Memories don’t store and theres a warning on power up. Dismiss it and the Modules work fine. No power supplies and all Pads work perfectly well responding to all pad trigger areas and velocity. I originally had 3 full kits at my rehearsal room but have no need for them and most of the parts/frames etc have been sold. selling as a job lot as I’d rather not split and do individual postage. Collection is good too, NE26 or NE6 or could possibly drive to meet depending on distance. Any questions please ask. Thanks David I
  5. U.K. postage for this week a coming in around £110 on Shiply.com which would make the cab, 550 delivered so I’m happy to half the expense and sell for 500 delivered.
  6. U.K. postage is around 70 on Shiply so would let this go for £400 delivered Thanks
  7. I’m sorry - I’ll be working Thursday. If you’re able to make it in to Leicester in the afternoon I could bring the guitar to work and meet there. Drop me a private message if that would work out for you 👍
  8. A bitter / sweet gig this one (Chateauroux in France) 18 original compositions from a good friend who's now sadly very limited with regards to time left. 10 pce band and I only know one of them, two days of rehearsal, live recording third day and public concert on the last night. Quite an honour to be asked to provide the low end. Fingers crossed I don't mess up🤣
  9. Mint guard, Monty’s stuff on the fretboard- laaaahhhhverly!
  10. It‘s like witnessing a snuff film. You can‘t unsee it.
  11. Isn’t it though?
  12. Cracking basses these, like you I didn’t think I’d use the alpha omega bit but it is super fun and because it can be dialled in then its utility comes in very handy. The clean sound is great also, I just add a little bass and treble on the 2eq to get the sweet spot. Good luck with the sale.
  13. Ooh the 0xEAE Bass Driver! Loved the demo I heard. Was tempted to seek one out. How you finding it as my thought was lower gain as a preamp rather than a full bore filth unit
  14. Is there a standard for solderless looms? I did a quick search and only saw stuff on eBay and a company called Obsidian, which seems to have a proprietary system (if I understand correctly, you don’t need to make any changes to the pickups, just slot the wires in the terminal?) What if I want to use my existing electrics/harness and just want to have an easy, solderless way of changing pickups?
  15. Well, having just recently sold a Precision (and one I really liked at that), I've gone and got another one. Moreover, I had one of these before, and sold it, partly to "upgrade" to a Fender.... so it's full circle, again 😉 Actually, I previously owned 2 of these earlier versions of the Squier Classic Vibe P basses; one in pale blue, and the other in Fiesta Red. I swore blind I'd never sell either - but I was tempted away by other basses. Selling my CV's only in attempt to keep the numbers down. Anyhow, I really did miss both, especially the Fiesta Red version as it had become my fave colour, with Tort guard. My upgraded Fiesta Red P was a Mex Classic 50's, and I really liked that too. However, the slightly wider neck was beginning to feel less comfortable. So I found myself wishing it had a slightly narrower neck, like the CV. So local BC'er and top bloke Lewis put this up for sale, and I decided to swing by and take a trip down memory lane, and I was instantly taken back to the enjoyment I got, playing my old CV. It's a tad heavier than the Danelectro, or the Short Scale Ibanez I mostly gig with these days - but what the heck... I just decided to go for it. I can always use it for a first set, then switch to the Dano for the 2nd set anyway, eh? Will I ever learn? Probably not
  16. I've been trying to avoid watching the news recently, but I think I may have seen your talking donkey?
  17. Yeah for sure, although I have seen a lot of Warwick love from them recently - Dirk Lance..etc. True, they just have so many basses it seems like they almost like everything sometimes. I saw a video where IMA pulled out an headless steinberg just for once specific reggae tone, lol.
  18. For sale is my Tone Hammer 500. This is a great amp with a warm, tube-like tone. I bought it new about 8 years ago and it's had regular, though not heavy use - approx. one gig a month - and always been well looked after. In great condition, with one minor scratch on the top, seen in the photos. Packed in the original box, with mains lead and instructions. Complete with the Aguilar carrying bag in very good condition. £500 including UK postage.

  19. Lovely looking bass @Eric_Wombat. I must admit, I've pondered getting one of these - even though I already have way too many. I particularly like the colour, it's a pinkish burgundy wine, and i think it's a great colour. I've not played one of these, but have heard great reports from owners and people who've tried them out. I quite liked Guy Pratt, and he went up in my estimations after reading his book - very well written, and so entertaining. Also, I really enjoyed his lockdown videos & bass lessons. Enjoy your new bass 😀
  20. They’re super enthusiastic about a very small handful of manufacturers and players.
  21. Wax and wane - Cocteau Twins
  22. Not that I can help with your speakers, but I woudn't call that 'on the blink' - that is way beyond the blink, that is full on broken!
  23. Yes, I noticed it on my 2605, but it certainly wasn't an issue.
  24. Ensoniq, made in USA 61key 12 bit sampling keyboard, poly aftertouch. in very good, fully working condition. Complete with a very comprehensive/extensive library of EPS and Mirage disks. It's a great sampler, but 3x Akai rack units, 3 MPCs, and an S2400 means my sampling needs are catered for elsewhere. Collection and demo welcome in Northampton, otherwise will deliver for fuel if your not too far away. I'm on the lookout for an 88 key Korg Triton, so PX very welcome if you have one to trade
