  2. This could be a good shout as my wife had loads of nail painting things. Thanks 👍
  3. Exactly this. It's the 42mm nut diameter. I'm in the process of ordering a copper pickguard for it now, as I fancy a slight change in look. I must have swapped pickguards about 5 times on it already!
  4. I can honestly say that our three-piece band must be in the ranking of worst-sounding clap-trap out there. I certainly wouldn't listen to us.
  5. The problem with having kids that are in to music too is that they keep on nicking my stuff! My daughter commandeered this bass after I cleaned it up, so haven’t yet had a chance to see if the active circuit still lives!
  6. A lot of Spinal Pap more like. 😎
  7. "Punk" band: We've got 2 bass players We have added funk Some of our songs are quite complex and have far too many notes 😁 Other (whatever it is!) Band: All the other members apart from me have previously found some level of fame... Sequencers and backing track E-Drums Big Bass grooves and Wall of guitar moments... "Blues" band: More funky than bluesey Only blues band in the world that does a cover of Sylvester's "Do You Wanna Funk" Only blues band in the world that does a song based on an Ornette Coleman's Prime Time song...
  8. I have a fretted and a fretless...great basses..so, so playable...lovely necks , huge choice of sounds... I think you have this underpriced but that should make for a quick sale. GLWTS
  9. I've never bothered greasing them. So similar to my S2000. Interesting...
  10. Lovely trio. I've been playing for over fifty years now and have had all the usual suspects, including Wal, Alembic, Spector, Dingwall, etc. overwater basses are the hands-down winners for me. Enjoy.

  13. This is as hard-hitting as Lucinda’s songs, and to be frank it’s a wee bit too honest. But that makes it compelling reading, so if you like her music it’s a solid investment. If you don’t know who she is, consult YouTube immediately… Hardback, very good condition. RRP £20, yours for £13 posted. Now just £11.
  14. For anyone who hasn’t heard this, it’s superb, good luck mickey
  15. A thing of beauty no doubt
  16. Definitely one of the best amps I’ve got, whoever buys this will not be disappointed
  17. Well I can tell you the 5-string version was very light, and this is obviously a little lighter again. They sit on the strap at a similar angle to a Status S2 design. Very central and perfect balance. I will say that the narrower neck is even faster to whizz around on than the five, which was already very fast.
  18. A Badass for the 2020's.......?
  19. Just sold Will a Laney Digbeth DB500H bass head. Really easy transaction, great communications throughout and after as well. Deal with Will with the utmost confidence. Thanks.
  20. ButtPlug-In Baby - Muse
  21. I won't complain. It was " Midnight Rambler" not Rush. Lol Daryl
  22. Today
  23. Underrated basses.
  24. Plastic Fantastic Lover - Jefferson Airplane
  25. Awesome entry level pedals up for grabs. Sonicake Octaver - a surprisingly good Boss OC2 clone, and an Amoon true bypass tuner. The tuner can emit a slight high pitched whine when in use but of course it's totally silent when off (True bypass) Both pedals in excellent condition, £25 for both!
