    Yes, my 1980s Squier JV Jazz, which is a similar vintage to the OP's Fender, and a copy of a 60s bass, is wired the same. I reckon Leo figured it wouldn't matter with the giant ashtray over the top hiding it. EDIT - mine is the same size and look as Clarky's original example, not as wide and shiny as the OPs.

    The Blue Bells (AKA The Black Arks) are new to me but what I've heard is great. Quite a few of their tunes are on a compilation 'Reggae Fever Oldies, vol 1' (which is a lot better than it sounds!)

    We already do Waterloo and the new one was Mamma Mia. Just great songs to play. Not something i ever really paid much attention to until i started playing them. Some nice little slides in Mamma Mia that i really like. Getting the tone right for it isn't easy either as it sounds like he's muting slightly over the bridge area but could be wrong there. Dave

    I was going to make this point too. I used to have an old Park valve head which was designed for bass but was bought off me by a guitarist who reckoned it was the beat amp he'd ever played though. I assume this is why the original Fender Bassman amps are so popular with guitarists too. GLWTS
