  2. An absolute workhorse of a Bass which would not only make a great inexpensive back up bass, but it is such an excellent sounding & playable instrument, I would be happy to use it in any situation having a really nice set up with a low action, level frets & weighing just 3.6Kg, or just a tad under 8lbs in ‘old money’ according to digital scales. Specs…. Passive Alder Body Maple Neck Rosewood Slab Fingerboard 38mm neck width, so very Jazz - esque + shallow depth. Jazz style powerful pickups Bridge Volume, Neck Volume with Master tone controls 24 Fret Double octave fretboard 34” Scale length Ti Flats fitted which have had very little use Stagg lightly padded Gig Bag included. There are a few play wear marks, but overall it is in very good condition - please see pics. Can post to the U.K. Mainland via Parcelforce 24, or collection welcomed & knock £25 off the total price. Any questions, please give me a shout.
  3. I’m using an iPad so no CTRL F5, but thanks for the idea. I’ll check if I’m blocking cookies but I don’t think so.
  4. The only thing here is democracy/majority. If you got in an independent sound engineer and most of you went a different way than the guitarist then majority wins. Then write down the settings and have the mixer on the opposite side of the stage to him, and reset them immediately before each set - because he will change them when you aren’t paying attention.
  5. Super person of no fixed abode Simply any colour you choose Beach persons
  6. Wipeout - the Surfaris
  7. Ritter dual padded Bass Gig Bag in excellent condition with all zips working and easily houses two long scale Basses such as Precision or Jazz style instruments. Twin shoulder straps. Collection welcome, or can be posted via Parcelforce 24 hour service at cost price of £10.70 to the U.K. Mainland.
  8. apocalypse please - Muse
  9. Thanks…but nothing I really need TBH. All the best. Mark
  10. Sleepy-time Richard …
  11. This is the issue. He's really competent at mixing and the sound we have is the sound he wants. The problem is that it's not really the right sound for indie pop at a wedding. If we were a metal band it would be pretty good. It all comes down to his personal preference. Getting a pro engineer in to mix would probably be a bit pointless because he wouldn't like the mix they came up with.
  12. The end of the world - Skeeter Davis
  13. Thank you 🙂
  14. It’s a useful pedal. I think I have had one for 25 years?
  15. Well worth it.
  16. Tc electronic RH450, RS112, RS212, all in fantastic condition. I was kidding myself when I thought I was going to be a gigging bass player. Sounds great. A friend of mine borrowed it for a local gig and he is a great bass player and it was awesome. Included in the sale is the foot controller for recalling presets and a rather dashing gig bag for the head. Will split.
  17. I guess Lego are fully aware of how these things work, BUT since they could be bothered to post it, maybe they are indeed willing to put it out - provided most parts are standard and don't require new molds to be made. Maybe every part must be standard; I don't know how expensive molds are these days. If they do, then I gather only massive sales will see another model later - - though I think the model pool is very tiny indeed. As to the "homage", I didn't understand your post. Did you mean the Behringer Model D or a possible future homage that is more its own thing?
  18. Try the low fibre cables, they're far easier on the teeth...
  19. Generally I eat most things - guitars are probably safe and cables a bit too chewy
  20. May consider part trades, particular something Stingray ish, 4ohm 2x10”, class D bass amp that does 2 ohms, John East Uni pre, lightweight basses.
  21. That's a shame and puts you in a difficult position. Audience feedback sounds like the only thing that might make a difference but that's awkward, you can hardly canvas the crowd on the night like a focus group.
