  2. I bought this bass by accident (didn't look at the picture or read the description on eBay) and it ended outstaying all the other 50+ basses I have had. The Revelation is a cheap-as-chips but solid unlined fretless that simply works. This has been my main beater in a blues/ rock band since before Covid. Sounded great and never let me down. I have upgraded the solid basics with a KiOgon loom, ToneRider pup and better quality, lighter machine heads. It works perfectly, but it's no beauty. The screws that hold the machine heads on actually come through ever so slightly the other side. There are sundry holes on the face of the body. Plus I have experimented with some relic-ing which I think looks superb but no one else does. Fitted with a set of brand new Maruszczyk flatwound strings. £100 collection only from the middle of the bulge of East Anglia.
  3. EBS NEO212 4 ohm 2x12 cab with Roqsolid vinyl cover. Great sounding cabinet, very portable (27kg) only selling due to lack of use, in good condition but control knob missing from tweeter and small tear in cover collection only from Aylesbury or your own courier
  4. I completely agree re: Mark - he's been fabulous to collaborate with. I'm slowly coming to the same conclusion on the weight front. Mark has suggested downsizing the body by 5% and dong some more aggressive chambering - but I'm struggling with whether even that would get us there. The hardware is what it is - weighs what it weighs - so we'd have to take a full pound (or close) off the body/neck woods - quite the lift I think. Lots to mull over.
  5. This keeps coming up and I have to keep remindig myself, I'm here to SELL a bass, not to buy a new one... 😅
  6. Sorry for the derail: is that the series 2? Am I right in thinking that the gain control is cut only? Or can you boost the volume level as well?
  7. Just to confirm, the Hipshots are 'USA' and not 'Licensed', so you can switch them to the left or right of your headstock.
  8. Open to offers on the dunlops, I don’t have any shortscale basses anymore so they’re just taking space in a drawer.
  9. That's a great deal for a stunning bass.
  10. Thanks Stew it plays very well for a bass in that price range
  11. Try this with a regular set, prob best with a cheap/used set first just so you don't ruin an expensive pack!
  12. QSC K10 Active Speaker With Roqsolid Cover I’m selling my K10 speakers - excellent quality 1000 watt active speaker. It’s had light use as a monitor but I’m going back to a smaller system now and selling my big PA. I have two of these. The price is for one unit only. It’s got an incredible clarity and throw for a 10” speaker, plenty of bottom end and perfect for mains, monitors or keyboard backline. It weighs 14.5kgs so no featherweight but still very portable. A very useful speaker in excellent used condition. Includes mains lead and cover. I can post in the UK for an extra £25. Please note this is the Mark 1 version. UK only no trades sorry.
  13. Cab was a Trace 1153, but it was still underwhelming with their smaller 2x10 (2103H) too.
  14. There will be creditors. To withdraw assets / reserves from a company in such circumstances would be illegal.
  15. Rotosound Jazz 77 flats on my 1025x. 👍🏼 Mark
  16. Ha, I’ve looked at this so many times that I completely forgot that I’d already wished you GLWTS. Ah well, as much good luck as I can muster!
  17. After much experimentation over the last few months, I have now settled on my preferred strings for each of my basses, so these unused sets are all up for sale. All prices are posted per set, but happy to combine and discount for multiple purchases. GHS Pressurewound (39.25" winding and custom made to fit Dingwall basses and imported from the US) - £40 3 x Newtone Platinum nickel roundwounds on round cores - (2 x 37" and 1 x 38" ball end to taper) - £35 2 x GHS Brite Flat groundwounds (38" ball end to taper) - £38 1 x Elites Groundwounds (38" apart from the B, which is 37.25" I think) - £30 Thanks for looking.
  18. Purchased a TC electronics head. Smooth transaction, recommend.
  19. yes, you can of course use 1 mic or both to the same input
  20. Exactly that. Had only been on 2 hours and was just away to get a file and a pencil to gently widen it. Oh well.
  21. Happy to listen to offers on this as I’ve no intent on fitting it to anything and I have nowhere to store it. Would entertain trades on a pedal, fresh sets of strings etc. Fanks xxx
  22. Powers up (with generic 9V) but has very quiet, slightly distorted sound. I suspect it’s the volume pot gone but could be more… Otherwise in physically good condition. Could be a good project for the DIY enthusiasts out there.. Price is posted to the uk.
  23. You’ll have to get the pros on here or Google to get that answer. Me🤷🏾‍♂️ It does something nice (subjective of course…you dial in as much as your ears tell you)
  24. Shame that this is still here…. Took it out on a gig on Sat and it was as expected…..special!👌🏽 Waiting on a luck owner🤞🏽
