Price drop: £600. I can't quite believe I'm selling this bass, as it has been my favourite ever Pbass, and I've owned quite a few. These have been discontinued a few years now. They are amazing basses. This one sounds absolutely immense, and the neck feels lovely to play - really smooth. It has great sustain. These were made alongside the superb Roadworn series, and they were amazing build quality too. Wish I could have justified keeping my Roadworn Jazz, and Roadworn P - but i can't justify keeping too many! So why are you selling it? I hear you ask. Well, it's mainly because I'm mostly gigging with Upright, and short scale bass guitars. Age has started to dictate that I need less weight on the left shoulder, as I'm playing some long gigs. Also, I'm tending to prefer less stretching for my left hand fingers too.... sadly. It weighs just a shade under 4kg, if memory serves me, and the nut is 44mm wide - and it's not overly deep, front-to-back, so doesn't feel too chunky. I did try a couple of slimmer necks on this bass, inc a US Jazz maple boarded neck, and an MIJ neck which was slightly slimmer. However, nothing really sounded as resonant, as punchy, or as snappy as when this original neck is on the bass. I guess they get the matching just right in the factory? EDIT: also, maybe the wider neck gives the bass more punch, or low end? Both maple board necks had more snappiness than the rosewood, and it the low end really was more defined with this neck than the US Jazz neck.... Currently strung with my favourite TI flats, which are about 2.5 years old, and nicely bedded in. I could put a set of rounds on it, if you prefer - but I would urge the buyer to try the bass with these flats... they really are superb. This bass originally had an anodised gold scratchplate, but I just preferred Tort. I don't have the original plate, but you can get them easily enough on eBay. There is a small scratch / ding on the upper edge, near the back of the body. This is from the previous owner. I gently sanded the edges of this, to stop it catching on my shirt. No trades thanks. I need to thin the herd. Collection from Cardiff, or I might be able to meet. I much prefer to hand a bass over, and give the buyer chance to try.

Up for sale,is my lovely lakland DJ4, looks stunning in the LPB!....the bass is in beautiful condition as you can see in the pics...this is an earlier Korean version and has a nice low fast action and weighs in at 8.6lbs unlike some of the later basses that were heavier!....trussrod is excellent, when I bought the bass, it was fitted with ernie ball group 2 flats with absolutely no ill effect(if I can find them, you can have them)..to include shipping,uk only...Will be in a gig bag inside a larger cardboard box and very well packaged (this will be at buyers own risk)i always pack within an inch of it's life though .alternatively you could arrange your own courier....thanks for looking, any questions, just ask....£725

Sad one this, but I didn’t play it… Here’s my 1978 Gibson Ripper bass in the glorious black. This sounds absolutely amazing. It’s been in the BC family for years (original FS ad posted below). The bass has a couple of necessary changes. It’s wearing straplocks (standard) the bridge cover is a replacement and the pickup and cover are Kent Armstrong like-for-like swaps. The bass sounds *incredible* and it’s got a lovely, full and rich tone. It’s currently wearing flats which inevitably add to that. Gibsons notoriously have low frets and this one is no different. The reason for the (relatively) low price is that the frets at the nut are very low. A dress will help but it may be worth considering a replacement in the near future. The bass is marked a Second. After asking some experts, consensus was it was likely a minor blemish. Could it be this freer marker dot? Quite possibly. The bass comes with a Hiscox case. I will send the bass to you but you’re more than welcome to come and try it (encouraged, even!) Price is £1895 £1650 £1550 which is reasonable for a bass that I admit may need a little work in the future. Images here. More on request. Real price is 1500. Made a mistake on the smartphone. Not 1800, it is 1500. No need to say much about this bass. Like new, only did rehearsals with it. Very rare. Goes woth the bag and the paperwork. I am very reluctant to sell this bass, because it’s one of my favorites. But I am selling half of my collection. Price is firm. I’m selling more basses, so if this one remains for last, I will keep it. Thank you.

Serek Midwestern. Great condition, minor chips due to the very thin paint Jake applies on his basses. Pickup is Guild Bisonic. Currently with flats, but it goes with rounds hi-beam on the bag. Hi Here is my 2019 Fender Player Precision, Black and Maple Precision up for sale. I have replaced the original wiring with a Kiogon loom. I picked this up from a fellow BC'r on here about a year ago in a trade. Its a lovely thing, plays well, sounds just like a P should and is set up with a medium/low action. The neck is perfect with no blemishes, the body has some very small pitting above the pickguard, I have tried to capture it on the pictures but its not easy and invisible to sight or feel when playing. There is also a very small blemish on the bottom of the body which I have tried to capture. I have a tort, white and black pickguard for this bass, all included in the sale. Only selling as I'm sooo in love with my RW 50's Precision that this beauty is redundant. Any questions just ask. Collection from Milton Keynes or reasonable distance meet up.

Hi, I am selling my 1994 Made In Japan, Fender Jazz Bass, Fretless JB62-FL. As you can see it’s in well loved and used condition which is to be expected with a 30 year old working instrument. That said it sounds amazing, plays superbly well, really channels that Jaco sound and aesthetic. Plenty of that fretless mwah and also has that classic Jazz Bass growl. Weighing in at 3.5kgs/7.7lbs and sits very comfortably on the shoulders Set up with Elite Flatwounds & It comes with a TGI Extreme Padded gig bag to protect it when you’re taking it out. Hi. Final Price £450 but No Offers as this is a great price for such a bass in prime condition and no play wear . I’ll move this on if no interest during October. A stonking performer that will cover a vast range of tones and this one’s a real looker ( + Matching Headstock, so difficult to find ). USA version acquired this year so I can’t justify keeping this beaut. I have another gorgeous bass for sale here because I couldn’t resist buying the USA made equivalent. An extravagance because the Tribute Series electronics and hardware are the same spec as the US made basses. Anyway, I’ve done it now so this beauty can be yours. I bought it new from Andertons in 2020. S/No 181122060 Made in 2018. Weight 4.36kg 9lbs 8oz. 43mm nut 19mm string spacing at the saddles ( D’Addario nickel plated rounds) These with the matching headstock were only made for a short while and seem a rarity preowned so here’s your chance! There are loads of Youtube demos of G&Ls L2000 so if you are not familiar, check those out. Volume Treble Bass and Leo Fender’s unique electronics means the Bass and Treble work when it’s in Passive mode. 3 switches Passive/Active/Active with high end treble Series/Parallel Pickups selector Bridge,Both, Neck. With all these controls it really is helpful to have the pickup selector. Flipping marvellous! 🤓 Not used a great deal as I have quite a few basses so no signs of wear and all works perfectly. Luscious creamy paint with gloss. Two tiny specks on the body front which simply look like dust. See if you can spot them in the photos. They’ll be joined by the usual dust in the air and really aren’t noticeable. I only spotted them yesterday by being OCD during my inspection! I’ve added two more pics showing the specks location. In the close up, for comparison, there are 3 specks of actual dust above the knob and switches happened to settle as I faffed before taking the shot. The body on this production run was Basswood but feels as solid and sounds like an Alder body. The fingerboards were Brazilian Cherry. Too light for me so I’ve darkened it with Fiebing’s Pro Dye liquid stain ( Dark Brown ) after consulting my usual Pro technician. Fret dot markers protected the pearl dots. I applied some matching cream Jockomo markers which can be removed but I love them. I’ve checked typical preowned prices to pitch mine but this is a rarer finish and in top condition. Upgraded knobs with indicators and upgraded string tree with slots. Having said that. Make me a near offer and we’ll see. I have other basses up for sale only. 3 others. Gave the fretboard an little oil clean today ( it didn’t need it but my paw marks are not on it now). Frets needed their annual polish so the end two photos show that.
