Thanks TLBX. It was great to talk shop. Don't forget that Spector next time. Yes, the Esh really needs to be picked up and played to be fully appreciated. The texture, quality of workmanship and playability are all really excellent. Originally, I flew over to Bass Direct to look at fretless basses. Despite having never even laid hands on an Esh before, I came back with this instead!
