Markbass LM2 and Standard151HR- SOLD

Hey guys, Selling my combo as it was meant to be for a gigging project but that has fell through! I've tried to justify keeping it but the missus and the neighbours don't appreciate the 500 watts of bassy goodness thundering away in the front room! Bought this brand new from Guitar Guitar in Glasgow in November for £599. It has left my house once. It is in showroom condition! I have the manual and the power cable! This is the most versatile amp I've ever owned. (See my sig to see what I've had) You can save upto 3 settings, I have clean slap, phat and overdriven and CLIFF BURTON (Guess what that sounds like!) With the 3 band compressor, tuner and tubetone control you will never run out of tonal options! The 2 10s are extremely punchy but give a great deal of low end as well! There's also a horn with the adjuster control ON THE FRONT! (No more reacharounds!) Down to business! First and foremost id like a trade, I'd consider the following! Markbass LMII Head + Cash my way Ibanez promethean Markbass combo + cash your way PJB Flightcase I am open to similar offers! You can come round and try no probs! If you would like to buy it out right, I would be looking for [s]£550ono![/s] £500 Which gives a saving over RRP but reflects the usage and condition! Make me an offer!! Thanks for reading!!
I've had my hyperbass for a year now, amazing instrument! do it, you'll never look back
I would love to see pictures of that! I met Michael while attending ACM and the bass completely blew me away! Didn't have the bottle to ask for a go right enough! He's a great guy! Connor

FODERA Monarch 4 Victor Wooten Classic
The one in Bass Guitar mag was stunning in the flesh, hard to explain why but pictures really don't do it justice Mind you, it's kinda immaterial as I understand it's been sold now
Yeah it was sold to a player from Austria before it had even arrived! The Matthew Garrison they have at Bass Gear is possibly the most beautiful Fodera I've ever seen! Shame it's a 6! Connor -
There MUST be an electronics/radio/HiFi geek in your neighborhood. Look for a high radio antenna and there - underneath it you'll likely find someone who can solder if you cannot do it yourself. I cringe when I hear 'go to a guitar tech' as that usually means $$ (€€ for youse guys). What I find is that those cables made by just one company (Monster) are particularly bad on warping the contacts on female jacks and that if you can, just bend the spring-parts back into a tighter position. I've had Monsters destroy more than one female connex in the past with their slightly oversized dimensions.
Thanks guys, its a planet waves lead Ive been using. Yeah I can solder. Think Ive got an iron in the garage. Ill check how the contacts are against the lead! Thanks for the snappy replies. Connor

Hey all, my Warwick FNA's jack input has recently started to play up when I plug in my lead. I have to plug it in and then pull it out a quarter inch to get a sound. I looked in the control cavity but as I have no idea about this stuff, it looked all fine to me. Are there any check I should do? Is this an easy fix? Am I an idiot? Please help. Thanks Connor.

Thanks for all the opinions folks! I'm really toiling between this, TC and Markbass. Bit more research and hopefully have this sorted this weekend and get back to playing LOUD! Thanks again folks! Connor.

Hey guys! I've always wanted some epi gear, it looks fantastic. Only problem is I have nowhere to try it less a trip to The Gallery ie 1000 miles round trip! (Which I did 3 years ago for an Eden head! Haha!) Please could I have some info/thoughts/opinions/stories/insight/anything?! Would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks Connor
Hi Conor Was this the BH500 Head at circa £375 or the RH450 Very impressed with your enthusiasm - I could actually feel the excitement from you and it was in Glasgow. I was in there last weekend but didn't see the BH500. Only the RH450. Did you also try the new BH cabs ? Let me know Cheers Dave
Sorry mate, it was the BG500 2x10 combo! It had the punch of any high end cab I've tried/owned, but still a lovely lowend rumble! Edit: and it was priced at £609! The only other combo that was on my shortlist is the Epifani Epifunky 2x10 but seen as I'm not heading to London any time soon I won't be trying one and don't wanna blind buy it! Connor

Just one extra note: I also played a Mark Bass Minimark and Eden Nemesis N15! The TC blew them out the water for features and tone!

Hey mate, I played one of these today in Guitarguitar in Glasgow and I wa blown away! Check my sig to see the amps I've owned. I have never, repeat NEVER played an amp that I can get this many sounds from! A solid 45 minute playtime! Had the HiFi EA sound, tubetone gave me plenty Ampeg Grunt! I abed it next to a PJB Flightcase which sounded great but this thing could do that tone AND the rest! I was most impressed by the compressor though! Just one control but so responsive! Payday will be order day for me! Connor

Anyone had any experience with one of these? Struggling to find any reviews! Thanks Connor.

Some combo advise would be greatly appreciated.
I sold one of those slot-fronted Trace Elliot combos not long back, was a stonking bit of kit and eminently giggable despite its small size and 10" driver; I think mine went for less than £200, if I needed an easily-transportable gigging amp I'd buy another one in a flash. If I could remember the model number someone'll be along shortly to refresh my memory...
I'm going to sound really picky hear but definately not interested in Trace or Ashdown. Thanks for the reply though. -
With that budget you could pick up something on this forum probably powerful enough to gig with. For example sold my trace combo on here sometime back for about 300 ish I think. Can't remember exact spec but 15" speaker 12 band graphic etc and with the option of adding an extension cab.
Yeah mate was going to say, anyone selling anything that might interest me let me know. Ive had a look at the forums but not really sure how you go about buying on there! Thanks very much for your help. Connor. -
I'd be tempted by an Ashdown Electric Blue 180. 180 watt, 15" speaker, compressor and Ashdown's sub harmonic generator. The evo II (current model) has the proper Ashdown VU meter now instead of the crappy printed one the older models have. You can usually pick these up new for around £300 - a great little combo for that money. http://www.antonesguitars.com/ashdown-elec...combo-714-p.asp
Thanks mate, I had an Ashdown ABM500 for a while with 2 MAG 410's and also with an Ampeg 410HLF and wasn't a fan! I'm more of a Hi-Fi guy to be honest. But thanks again for your input. -
Hi, I'm need a practice amp for the house which could also be used for jams. I'm thinking 12-15in speaker with 80-100 watt output. I've got about £350 to spend but that is my maximum and anything under that would be good considering Christmas is on the horizon. Any recommendations or advise would be greatly appreciated. I am considering currently:- Ampeg BA115 SWR LA15 Eden EN12 EBS 60 Thanks in anticipation, Connor.
