I had a fairly gentle go on the 15 at Mansons some time back. I liked it, but it was pricey, and much heavier than my 500W 2x12 rig. I used a flatwound-strung 51RI, so vintage sound was automatic!
Howdy, Kong, nice to meet you! For 15 years, I worked (in England) for a Baden-Wurttemberg based company called W&G, based in Eningen-unter-Achalm, near Reutlingen. I did get to visit a few times, and very nice it was, too!

This. I use a Samson Airline system (it's been superceded since), and although it's a single frequency job, I've not had any insurmountable problems.
This fifty-something (quite a lot of somethings!) objects to you describing yourself as past it. That would make me [i]well[/i] past it. Harrumph!
(Of course, as I've harrumphed, I've essentially declared myself as past it. Rats.)
