As per the sig...Fender, Fender all the way. Don't count Squier as seperate, even less so now I have one - great bass! In fact, Precisions all the way! Oh, and, erm, Mr Polglaze? If you ever decide to no longer like the A-neck P, do give me a call...Please! Pretty please!

The reputation of the type 2 Telecaster bass, from which this is modelled, is of delivering unrelieved mud. In this respect, it's a very good copy, as it does mud for the Olympics, as you'd expect from a 'bucker that big and wound to 24kohms. But with a modern amp, you can get round that. If you have a very traditional rig, you'll only like the sound if you also like Gibson basses, although the longer scale does help the Fender be less muddy than a short-scale., So: Muddy? yes. Incurably muddy? Not at all. Well playable? With a good set-up, superb. Edit: forgot to add that you'll be lucky to see one before the end of June. Fender say mid-June, but I'll believe it when I see it...

I had the earlier EB15-150, with a MAG115 Deep added. Good rig!

I've said this before... Never go gigging with out a back up. If one fails, you STILL need to go out with two, so three is my minimum. I have four, but will be down to 3 as son as I can sell my Kramer. Essentially, though, I have 3 different P-basses. No surprise there, then!
