1. Cool, will restart thread.
2. Quite apart from earning money Blue, there's no better way to keep really tight than by doing a lot of gigging.
3. It's a revivial of a Cornish band called Hooked. Aiming at 75 -100 gigs/year. Like me, the band has been out of action around 8 months - time for a reboot!
4. Bump, and more just found, so will be adding to these!
5. The relief is physically palpable! Now, time to get some gigs!
6. Yup, they seem to go well with most of their brethren! 2nd rehearsal/audition with the new cab last night. Sounded great, and I got the job!
7. If you do decide to go combo, also check out the CMD121H. And there's nowt wrong with the Travelers either.
8. Gave it a run out last night, on its new wheels, with the CMD121H stacked on one corner. Sounded massive! Plainly, I need to be back in a rock band , making myself more deaf than I already am!
9. There is no lack of ports - they're at the back...
10. Fair enough - HB1s sounds like the way to go.
11. I got a Streamer Standard 5 ex-display for £235...
12. Further research: if the CV tuners are the same size as the real thing, then Hipshot HB2s are the correct fit. Otherwise, I'm sticking with the HB7s.
13. Just added a set of wheels, ready to gig!
14. I put Hipshot HB7 lollipops on my P5. They drop in on Squier, MIM Fender, and American Special.
15. I'm going to be trying these at the earliest opportunity!
16.
... plus, should you feel it necessary, you can angle the pickups to get individual string to pole distances across all 4 strings.
This and the humbucking was the reason for the split.
17. Just traded an LMIII for a Traveler 151P. great communications, and Awesome packaging! Cheers, Dennis
18. Got this in a trade with vmaxblues of this parish. Looks unused - even the speaker compliance is still shiny! Test no 1 - will the CMD121H stack accurately with it? Check. 2 - is my speakon lead long enough? Check. 3 - does it sound good? Yes. Yes, it does! Just have to wait a week in order to crank it a bit at an audition/jam, but pretty pleased!
