Raggy

Just sold a neck to Steve, great comms all round, and very understanding when UPS decided to to take New Year's Eve off...
2. In overall good condition, cosmetically around 90%. Electrically in full working order. Bought for a project a couple of years ago, and never used. Includes a printout of the manual, bound in a folder. Price includes delivery, however, I'd prefer collection. If collected, then £250.00 Specs here: http://mackie.com/pd...04vlz_contr.pdf
3. Let's be clear - there are few ABGs that can cope acoustically at all, no matter the price. The Tacoma Thunderchief was probably best of the reasonably sized ones. As to the Kingman - use a small backline amp. I use an old Bassman 25, more than sufficient for acoustic gigs. I also use a feedback buster soundhole plug to ensure no feedback. I don't use it that often. I've strung it with 50-105 Fender flats, and it sounds fine. The neck is superb, if you like slim Jazz necks.
4. In very good condition. Just a little paint scuffed off edge of pedal. Has been used for one song per gig, and has lived most of its life in a Boss BCB-30 pedal case. In original box, with all paper and a Boss link cable for good measure! Price includes postage.
5. Wireless bug. Job done.
6. I've sort of gone down this route. Main bass is a MIM P with an American Special Jazz neck. Backup is a Squier VM Precision fretless which now wears a VM77 Squier Jazz neck. Also have a Squier P5, and very good it is too.
7. Also, More Than Words, Extreme. Nice to do your own thing on, or really lay back and keep it simple. Play it in F# (detuned a semitone on the record, they play it in G) and try to use absolute minimum hand movement. I have small hands, so it was tough, but got easier!
8. Know what this hole in your life feels like. My band went out with a bang on 20 December after 7 1/2 years. It all ended on a very good and lucrative note, but now what? DB lessons, that's what.
9.
Surely earplugs? Good ones? (for Volume, not lousy drummers, nothing can cure them )
Once the damage is well under way, and it was, way before decent earplugs, my experience is that the damage keeps accumulating. Tinnitus as loud as conversation for 30 years. It's getting worse. Time to go acoustic. The other musicians, that is, not me!
10. Damn, that's a lot of Precisions! AND a red Aerodyne P! Bloody hellfire...
11. Actually, the Brighton date just became more fluid...
12. Missed an Out - Squier Affinity Precision PJ Also: Learned: that I'm never again going to play in anything loud enough to need drums. Still reeling from NYE gig, and I'm just fed up with so much volume. And with lousy drummers, come to that...In fact, while typing this, I've decided to scrap the idea of an extension cab for my combo. Too loud........
13. Added extra: I will be at Wembley Park Premier Inn on the evening of 13th January, so that's a possible meet point. Also possible is the following day in the cab's birthplace, Brighton.
14. And now, the time has come... With the final demise of the Rock 'n' Roll Outlaws, this wonderful cab is now surplus to requirements. It is in very good, although not pristine, condition. It has done around 120 gigs, but been well cared for. It does not have a cover. Specs: http://barefacedbass...per-fifteen.htm Handles: I have replaced two which were showing significant wear. ALL the handle caps are new. This replacement was done for the purposes of the sale, so these bits are brand new and unused. Trades: no trades. Pics: Payment: Bank transfer preferred, but PayPal gift also acceptable, as is cash on collection. I would prefer not to post/courier, but will investigate this if all else fails. Items this large are handled with forklifts, and Alex's first attempt to deliver mine was a total write-off - forklift tine right through the cab. Happy to deliver anywhere in Devon/Cornwall/Somerset for diesel cost. Or the ubiquitous motorway services shady meet-up!
15. Cyndie Lauper, Time After Time. AK & US, Forget About It.
16. Worked a treat! Much precautionary hoovering...
17.
Best of luck with that, Ad. 2014 was the year I found out just how difficult it is to get a regular drummer who can actually drum!!
Jeez, this. And more this.
18. In: Squier VM Fretless Precision Squier VM Precision V Out: Warwick 'The Alien' ABG Fender American Special Jazz Qualifications: I sold the fretless neck and replaced it with a VM77Jazz neck. And I've just this week sold the black blocks and binding Allparts Jazz neck and replaced it with a brand new American Special Jazz neck. Hopefully, that's it for the foreseeable future. Yeah, right...
19. That's excellent, many thanks!
