2.
I must be the only guy on this whole website who really dislikes P's XD
Try one with a Jazz neck. Fabulous.
3.
There is only one answer to this question, US Fender Precision.
Any good Precision. Doesn't matter where it comes from.
4. I've put them on everything! No issues.
5. Actually, it's incredibly difficult to get a set of Imperial gauge Allen keys. I imported mine from Stewmac.
6. As our guitarist, whose band it is, has decreed that the Rock 'n' Roll Outlaws will play their last gig on 20th December this year, we are largely playing a selection of 'last time we'll be playing here' gigs. Last night, at the Red Lion in Exbourne, near Okehampton, was a double whammy - first AND last time we'll play there! Was a good gig, many CDs sold, and one couple driving all the way from Plymouth to see us!
7. Up once again.
8. If the sale looks like going nowhere, I'll get back to you, Paul. And I won't leave it too long!
9. 2nd appearance! Top-of-the-line acoustic bass from those nice Warwick folks. Comes in its original deluxe gig bag, with folder which houses a cloth, the manual, truss rod tool and another small Allen key (not sure what that does!) and the neck heel strap lock, ready for its new owner to fit where needed. Never gigged, but has done a radio session. Totally unmarked. Trade options:American Special Precisiom, maple, CAR, with cash my way. 5-string US Precision, maple, any colour, with case, straight swap. Price DOES NOT include any delivery. Pickup in person, or I will meet if possible and not too far. However, I will probably be in Lincoln over the 21/22/23 February if that's any use to anyone. Otherwise, it's West Devon! Grab yourself a bargain! 10. As I already said ^^^, those pickups will do that. But the stock pickups may well sound great, especially with the TIs.
11. Tascam trainers.
12. Here for sale is my bitsa P-bass Special: Price now £200 delivered! Specs: Body and pickguard are Squier. Neck is a Mighty Mite Jazz. P pickups is a Squier VM (from a new fretless model). J pickup is a Wizard 64 Electrics by KiOgon Other hardware is Squier (bridge) and Mexican Fender (everything else. Plays well, and sounds good, with a reasonable pickup balance for a PJ. Include a good Fender gig bag, and free delivery, in a proper box! Not interrested in trades, unless you have a really nice Allparts maple Jazz neck, with black blocks and binding!
13. If you replace the pickups, go for Original Fender or Duncan SPB1 traditional. IMHO the QPs are overated. For slightly hotter, the Duncan SPB2s are good also. But try it out properly first.you might like it completely stock.
