1. The house move demon really DID eat it - not seen it since!
2.
Or Squier/Squire. Jon.
This. Surprised I haven't ground away my teeth...
3.
In my old metal band I frequently had from one of the guitarists: "sh*t, I've forgotten my power cable/Instrument cable/amp jack again, Graham can I use your spare?" I swear I used to bring duplicate sets of all my cables so I knew we'd actually be able to play. Edit: to the point where I was using speakon with my amp, but used to bring a jack cab cable as well for the times he would forget his.
This sounds vaguely familiar!
4. I have a LMII in a combo and a LMIII head. Nuffink else needed, guv. *And had the combo 7 years! Blimey, where did that go?
5. Shall take an extra fretted bass today...
6. Yes, that's the one. It sounded fine, although I basically used it with the P pickup only, as I wasn't looking for any other sound. Afterward, I did do some pickup tinkering to even out the levels a bit, as the Wizard was overwhelming the Squier P pickup a bit. I am also constantly amazed by the neck on this - slim front to back, approaching Jazz width at the nut, it is SO comfortable!
7. No, it's a blues/jump jive jazzy setup with gtr/bass/harmonica/keys/sax/drums. So to some extent, I had places to hide, as it were!
8. Just over an hour into a four-hour rehearsal, my no2 Precision starts to emit a speaker-flappingly loud earth hum. I do the next three hours with my teeth gritted playing the new Squier fretless Precision, which I've had about 3 hours noodle time on! Fortunately, no-one seemed to mind, and I was beginning to enjoy myself quite a lot come the end! Phew!
9.
I'd like to know what you are doing to the poor bass to make the neck work loose - I've never heard of it in 50 years of working with basses & guitars. G.
This. Never had such a problem in 40+ years of Fender playing.
10. Indeed, but now all three are so nice, I don't know which one to pick up! Mind you, nice situation to be in!
