1. Hello Friends, Forgive me for bumping this fine bass but in these cash-strapped times needs must!
2. Hi All Having finally bought a Pedulla Fretless here (thanks Mikkel!) my trusty Warwick Corvette Active has to go for £520. This is a German made model in Amber Oil with the 'Fast Neck' that Warwick Germany started producing at this time. The Ebony finger board gives lots of 'Mmaww' and classic Warwick growl for those great fretless sounds and very helpful 'side dots' on the neck. . It's in excellent all round condition- I've never gigged this bass. I'll include info from the Warwick website but do ask any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. I'll include a Warwick gig bag for 'in person collection/delivery' or a Hard Case ( for £30 extra) for shipping at £25.00 . I'm often in Birmingham sometimes London (so I could meet you there) but live in N. Wales where you can try it out- it's a beauty! It weighs 3.8 Kilos according to Warwick. 3. Hi Mikkel David recommends you without reservation- thanks for your sensitive suggestion. If you could let me know what to expect 'the goodies' you mentioned and include current string info (gauges- etc) it will guide me to the set-up. Otherwise let's go ahead. I'll PM you about payment, best wishes, joe
4. Hiya I'm convinced by all the comments here and have to finally come out and declare my interest though I'm not going to get to Denmark to try it out- Denmark Street maybe! It looks like I'm your buyer Mikkel, Has anyone any advice on overseas shipping? thanks all, joe
5. Hiya how was this lined, i.e. inserts or 'painted' on? thanks, joe
6. Welcome to the site Keefy. I think you'll find pictures are essential when selling here, good luck, joe
7. Hiya it always helps to get the pics up here- there's not much else to look at! best wishes, joe
8. HIya a 'trade price' would be a helpful indicator, thanks, joe
9. Hello I have one of these (in exotic natural woods) like yours and with Gotoh hardware and an Ebony F/B this is a real bargain. Good luck with the sale and a bump on me, joe
10. Hiya did you sell this? If not I'm interested, I'll PM you, thanks, joe
11. Hiya you've done a good comparison job there. I often do this with my basses but you've managed with 'Fresh Rotosounds' on both. May I ask which Rotos they are? Swing bass have the red winding so I don't recognise yours. I prefer you on the Corvette but it's just another opinion! all the best, joe
12. Hi All still looking for advice on lining a fretless do here's a bump! ta, joe
13. Thanks for your interest, it's now sold, All the best joe
14. Hiya if you're following this waiting for a price drop here it is! in London this Saturday November 10th. come and get it...joe
15. Hello all I've had a couple of questions about payment so I'm copying this here: I'm not a dealer or shop so can't take credit cards. Cash or Paypal (gifted) in advance, are OK. I'm in North London again on Saturday (Nov. 1oth) if anyone wants to try the bass all the best, joe
16. I just got a PM asking if I had 'clips' available so I'll share my reply here: (The Bass will be available to try in London this weekend) I don't have clips. Basses sound so different in everyones hands that they don't seem useful. If you try Youtube you'll find clips if you want to get an idea. The Fretless sound is so personal, your touch makes a big difference. I'll be in London this Friday to Sunday if that helps you try it for yourself, cheers, joe
17. Thanks for being a VJ- Tony playing Stick there- I guess he felt some fret on both hands! Brave man... K.C. sounding like Talking Heads..! cheers, joe
18. A little Sunday bump for this fine fretless- go ahead 'feel no fret!' joe
19. "I really need a chunky old fashioned precision type neck" Hi Sean I've had a few Precisions over the years and (as you know?) they vary a lot. This is like the 'C' shaped Precision neck as opposed to the 'U' shape but you'd need to try it to be sure, all the best, joe
20. Great looking bass and a bargain- these are seriously undervalued, good luck with the sale, joe
21. A little bump to help you find this fine fretless... joe
22. I don't think the photo does justice to a bass in this price range. This site needs good photos to sell, good luck, joe
23. Yes, this is still available, cheers, joe
24. Hi Blitz thanks for the feedback- they are great basses but things seem slow at the moment- 'money's too tight to mention'! all the best joe
