1. "where to mark the side of the board?" I have an identical fretted bass so lined it up and marked it- there are templates available on line I believe so try a search engine, all the best, joe
2. Hello Jack fine point but you don't mention how you'd mark the edges- "ahh there's the rub!" cheers, joe
3. Hello as with all Warwick fretless basses this has side markers. Not all 'fret positions' but (on the E String): F, G, A, B, C#, E octave. (through 2 octaves). This gives a lot of help guiding intonation as those of us who've used unmarked necks can testify! best wishes, joe
4. Hi All despite the advice to train my ears I need to line a fretless for accurate recording. I've tried 'silver ink' pens on my ebony board but they rub off. Does anyone have a recommendation? thanks all, joe
5. the pure sound of ebony under your fingers for effortless vibrato! A real fretless 'mmmah' from this beauty...
6. Hello all I was just let down by a buyer after taking this to London for him- he didn't turn up! Not the usual BC behaviour so this is back up for sale. Any questions welcome, joe
7. Hi all I just got a PM about this which reminds me I need to let you know: I'll be out of the country for a month from Sept. 6th so I'm sorry if I can't reply to you after then. I wonder if I can put this sale on hold..? best wishes, joe
8. Hiya a weekend bump for a fine fretless folks! all the best, joe
9. Hi all I had a PM asking how the neck width compared to a Fender Jazz. Though Warwicks varied through the decade this one is closer to a 'C' profile than many Warwicks but not as slim as a Fender Jazz FYI, all the best, joe
10. Hiya I was asked the brand of the hard case but am sorry to say I can't find a name on it (it came with a bass purchase here). In design it's just like the Fenders if this helps... all the best, joe
11. Hello all a little weekend bump for Warwick- how about it?! all the best, joe
12. Hi all this is a little bump for those who 'feel no fret' and the sound of ebony under under the fingers... all the best joe
13. Bass Gallery quotes £200 for a re-fret- Is this considered a fair price these days..? joe x
14. Hiya sorry about the timing! As mentioned I can't afford to trade so it's priced for cash only, thanks for looking, joe
15. Hello All Here is my German 2004 Warwick Corvette Bubinga Fretless Passive 4 String in excellent condition. This is an 'Oil Finish' model and here are some details though you can check it out on the Warwick website under 'discontined German made Corvette Standard'.

Chrome hardware/ Just-A-Nut III/ Weight 4,6 kg/ 2x Jazz style MEC dynamaic correction passive 2-way p/ups/
Bubinga body/ Ovangkol neck with Ebony F/Board/ Scale length: 34" (long scale)
I include the Warrenty Card, Truss Rod, and ID tag.(see pics)
Any other questions I'll do my best to answer! I've only used this for recording and get a lovely balanced (slightly compressed) sound from this combination of woods and pick-ups. Its been so simple to record. I'm pricing it low at these tough times for a cash sale...
I live in rural N. Wales but could deliver on my occasional visits to Birmingham (sometimes London too) in which case a Warwick gig bag is included. For Postal/ Courier delivery I'd use a hard case so total delivery would be £30 extra. You can pick it up if you'd like to visit Denbighshire!
Here are some pictures which show it's current condition: Strung with Warwick Black Label roundwounds so slight string rash under E & A at 1st position. Otherwise a modest 9 out of 10 for a 2004 beauty....
16. Hiya these are excellent basses, I have a SB461 which has an Ebony fingerboard, exotic natural woods and Gotoh gold hardware. I have the brochure that came with it at the time and the models listed are SB311, SB312, SB315, SB321, SB321MF, SB325, SB461, SB465. Those in Red (SRD finish) are: SB311,SB312, SB315.These all have Alder bodies and black hardware. Yours looks like an SB315, good luck with the sale, joe
17.
I once put on an impromptu and well attended gig in local woodlands (got us in the Leicester mercury).
I played my first gig in Leicester in the 60's at a community hall at Netherhall (I think). My bass was a Hofner Beatle (later sold for so much more than the £15 I paid for it). My band was very poor and my vocal mike was hanging by string from the stage curtain rail. Of course it started to swing and I struggled to sing into it! I left Leicester 3 years later to join a band John Peel was producing so I learnt a lot in those years. GOOD LUCK with the gig! joe
18. Johnson J station, which I also use for (digital) recording. I've customised the 3 bass presets for my fretted and fretless basses. I much prefer it to the Pod which I use for guitar. Sennheiser 414 phones, joe
19. Elle est tres belle! bon chance, joe
20. Hiya with better pics I think you could show-off that fine finish which doesn't really come out here. It's a snip of a price for a fine bass- oh so tempting! all the best, joe
21. Hello welcome to the forum with your fine looking bass. If I may give you a tip- the rules require you to give a price on 'For sale' items. I suggest you edit your post so it appears at the top. Nice photo display! good luck with the sale, joe
22. Hiya Dave, welcome to the site. Adding a bit of info to your headline might help these get more attention. It might spoil the seaside humour for you though... good luck with your sale, joe
23. Hiya these are excellent basses and this is a giveaway price. I bought one from the Bass Centre in the mid 90's and was surprised at the excellent quality- I had a lot of use from it when my 'vintage' numbers were inappropriate. Good luck Jack- a man you can trust with all things bass-ic, joe
24. Hiya Have a bump on this! this link http://www.warwickbass.com/modules/produkte/produkt.php?submenuID=17072&katID=22954&cl=EN shows the STD Bubinga as a Korean bass. They don't appear in the German section. Perhaps wise SILDDX can clarify as this issues had come up before... ta, joe
