1. just got some delivery quotes, £30 is the cheapest...
2. this didn't manage to sell, so, bump!
3. Offering this up, going to consolidate into a Mixer/Interface combo (if I can find a well priced Mackie 1640i!!). We've used it fairly infrequently in the studio and once at a gig to great effect. It's been in a rack since I've had it and it arrived with me in mint condition, as it remains. Price is £275 delivered, which is just under what I paid and seems to be the going rate on eBay etc... 4. Does anyone do a wireless system which integrates both a wireless send for your instrument and receives a wireless IEM signal? Would this even work? It's all Witchcraft to me...
5. I think, if you find the right venues and play songs which are still fairly well known, you'd be surprised what you'll get away with. We play a different set to most bands around here, but it's still well known stuff and we get thanked at every venue for being a bit different. There's an appetite for the alternative at the moment. There's only so many times you can hear Sex on Fire before even the dullest person will get bored.
6. I'm with Low End Bee. If we don't all like a song, we don't play it, and it can't be "cheesy" (in our opinion, obviously). We haven't got a weekend off in April, so we're doing something right.
7. I'll echo the above, bought a Mex P from Alain and it was as easy a transaction as you could imagine. Highly recommended.
8. They're lovely. I'm hoping a burgundy one might appear for sale at one point. Underrated!
9. I bought Alan's ND410 from him and he was extremely accommodating with my crazy arrangements! Very highly recommended trader!
10. Dave bought some PA speakers from me, great communication and arrived to collect when he said he would! I would highly recommend selling your equipment to this man.
11. These are as good as sold, pending the formalities!
12. is it looped? I played the first 30 seconds and it was exactly the same at 4 minutes, then exactly the same at 6 minutes. His hands are moving fast, but I'm very, very bored.
13. Crazy
14. In fact, just want rid of these, so make me an offer!
15. Thanks guys, interesting reading.
16. The ongoing "what songs shall we learn?" debate rages on, with me firmly in the let's stick to bluesy rock and maintain a bit of consistency across the set, while a couple of the others want to mix it up and add some pop punk stuff. What's the consensus?
17. I'd only buy active. We just bought a pair of these FBTs and you'd be hard pushed to find an amp/cabs combo as light and powerful as these. One XLR in to each and I'm set up too. Easy peasy!
18. price drop. Losing £60 odd on this in less than a month...
19. See what the price is when it's released. Might be a lot cheaper, and it's always nice to have things in one box! Not to mention that it might well be voiced slightly different?
