1. I know this is unrelated to the bass you're trying to sell but, what's that black thingy on the left?
2. bump for super cheap prices!
3. Lock Stock...nice gear, if only it had an Ampeg badge on it...
4. Got a quote from these guys for £160 to import the thing door to door. http://www.wedelivertheworld.co.uk/index.php $750 for a used Head (from talkbass etc...) £50 for Vat works out at about £600! It is a bit of a risk buying 2nd hand from abroad, but they if they have good feedback, I've no reason to doubt them and the US Precision I got from ebay over there is a beauty! Ask Steve Soar!
5.
"A cautionary tale" Last year i bought a fishman acoustic amp from the states. It clearly stated on the back "Dual Voltage".Of course when i plugged it in here it blew up.I asked my mate who's a printed circuit designer to have a gander and from the description on the back even he thought it was misleading. You have to swap to leads to the power supply to get the amp to work at 220v but it didnt state that in the instructions or on the back of the amp He contacted Fishman for me and explained what had happened and expressed suprise that a top flight company would label an electronic product so.Anyways they paid the shipping back to the States and sent me a replacement foc. Just make sure you get it checked out before you throw the switch
Thanks for the advice! I'll take it to an amp tech and Ampeg said I can phone them there and then to take him through it, so that's reassuring!
6. I'm looking at buying one of these in from the US to save myself some money but had the obvious concerns regarding the voltage...So I decided to phone Ampeg and the tech guy told me that, changing the fuse and having the power transformer and another transformer (forgot the name) "re-tapped" would allow a US amp to be used in the UK. The power side of the SVT II is multi-regional and just needs adjusting slightly, a 10 minute job, he says by any half decent spark/amp tech. So any of you guys considering the cheap American amplifier route, check with the manufacturer first because you might get a nice suprise! I'm off to buy an SVT II Pro for under £600 imported... Ben.
7. It's got wheels! and a handle! It would fit in the back of any small car!
8. Bump for a little price drop!
9. Thanks for the offer, I'll consider it with anything else that gets offered!
10. Does anyone know anything about these? http://www.dv247.com/invt/froogle/49122/ 250 squids for a 500 watt hybrid?! seems like silly money to me!
11. Thanks! I had to get it from the US, couldnt find a 2nd hand one over here at all. Cheers for the case tip!
12. Hello, £15 to post it unless you can find a cheaper courier. I still have the bass, dont think I'll ever sell that though, just dont use the hard case. Cheers, Ben.
13. Ok, these have been tucked in a box in my garage for months unused so they might as well go to someone who needs them! I have : 2 x 3 metre/10' Hosa 8 Channel High Definition Recording Snakes Both in excellent condition, all channels working. £12.50 + Postage 1 x 5 metre/16.5' Hosa 8 Channel High Definition Recording Snake Excellent condition, all 8 channels working £12.50 + postage 1 x 6 metre/20' Canford Audio 16 channel recording snake Looks like this was a bit longer but has been chopped and Neutriks have been soldered on the end at 20', 2 channels are not terminated, they need Neutriks added, the other 14 channels work fine. (see photos) The individual channels are numbered, you dont have to guess! £20 + postage Feel free to make me an offer if you feel these prices are unfair! You're welcome to pick them up from me in Upton on the Wirral, or I can meet you up to an hour away... Cheers, Ben.
14. As you can see from the pictures, it's in excellent condition Looking for £50 Pickup from the Wirral by Liverpool, or I can post it at your expense. Cheers, Ben.
15. I know this was a while ago, however, I've just picked it up for the guitarist in my band to try out and figured I'd throw some pics up on here. See what people think...It's got to be the heaviest single 12" combo ever made..! As you can see, excellent condition! Grandads seem to be able to do that, keep things safe and clean!
16. I'm gonna bump this to the top as I've just bought CrazyKiwi's and I'm blown away by it, they're seriously excellent. Tons of power, superb tone and the boost knob gives you that beautiful growl for the perfect rock sound! I might even like it better than my SVT-CL/410HLF setup and I cried when I had to sell that! Someone buy it!

Kiwi's feedback

Just bought Steves GK RB700II 115 combo and he's a pleasure to deal with. It was a bit complicated with bank transfers and getting friends to wait for couriers and such but he bent over backwards to get this amp to me! Top Fella!
18. That is a cool looking bass and I'm on the wirral...If I hadnt just spent a million pound traveling around new zealand, I'd have bought this from you! Have a bump on me.
19.
Sunday evening BUMP! looking at what that V-4BH is going for on the bay , I'll certainly put these on nxt week sometime. so grab yourselves a bargin while you can!
Bloody hell! I just sold my 3 times more powerful SVT-CL for £750!! That is mental!
20. Why this weekend? I've just sold my SVT-CL and wont get the cash for that until sunday, so this weekend isnt an option as I'm up in Liverpool. I'd be wanting a courier to pick it up early next week. If that sounds ok, I'm happy to give you £70 for it. Ben.
i can't really go lower than £70 mate, and that's only if you're able to collect it this weekend? the cab has hardly been used at all, I'm practically giving it away at £70.
