Ouch... did you get the DB fixed?
I have never got on with RBX basses for some reason, but that's me not them, the ones I've played have been pretty nice and always good value. Good luck with your sale

Taking it down to my luthier tomorrow to get his verdict but I'm not holding out much hope, I wouldn't be surprised if it's not economical to repair
Oh well. Funnily enough, the RBX170 was my first bass guitar ever about 14 years ago so using it for a few gigs was a right trip down memory lane. They are fantastic basses for the money and the perfect starter instrument.
Cheers! -
Had to buy this on a recent tour of Germany when my double bass neck met an untimely separation from my double bass body.
Purchased from a music shop in Leipzig for 150€ all in so looking to move it on (with gig bag and strap) for £90 collected, courier possible which will have to be organised by buyer.
In pretty much 'as new' condition with a few surface marks, more detailed photos to come soon. Strings (rounds) were new when purchased, I think they are d'addarios judging by the coloured ball ends, used for about 5 hours in total.

Have to mention either Bosco Mann aka Gabriel Roth (Sharon Jones Band/Daptone Record founding father) or Nick Movshon (Amy Winehouse/Mark Ronson/Black Keys/Charles Bradley Band/Menahan Street Band)

Bought really recently from the forum for a project which disintegrated the day after!
Here's the original thread, hopefully Cal doesn't mind me linking to it:

Ahh I used to have the old big box 24v Qtron! I loved the sound, but it was too big and bringing an extra plug was a pain (it did seem to suck tone bypassed too) I've since used EBS,Digitech,Boss, EHX Bassballs and Tonefactor filters and never got that sound. I've a 3 leaf Wonderlove coming any day and I'm hoping it'll knock the Qtron+ off my top spot
What kind of tone suck did you experience with it, if you don't mind? I've just acquired an old 24v Q-Tron+ which I'm yet to try out! -
Monica bought a pedal from me, comms spot on and quick payment. Thanks!

This is a bit worn in places with some small rips but still perfectly functional, a couple of zip handles have broken off so have been fixed with makeshift zippers (photos to follow very soon). Collection only due to size. This is a full size (4/4) double bass case.

Mic clips
in Recycling
Posted · Edited by rorysmith
I'm moving house!

[s]The BDI21 has a slightly loose jack socket and cuts out intermittently, still works though.[/s]
[s]The tuners definitely aren't Schallers, I think they were off an old Ibanez Artcore hollowbody I used to own.[/s]
The mic clips are perfectly good but slightly too large for an SM58.
If anyone wants these then collection from Bristol is possible or feel free to donate a few quid for postage (to Basschat) and I will get them sent out to you.
Cheers
