haha i've played there a couple of time with a covers band called Wing It... they've always been good gigs mind but yeah it's seems to be like most places i've played, there's always the odd cracker!!

Hey guys, we've been looking for a new bass player for a while now and have had adverts up all over the net on pretty much every music forum and band forming website I can think of as well as in local music shops and the like. I've put an example of what we've been posting below... is it too long, too much waffle, are we asking for too much, are we just no good? We've had the odd response and even auditioned a few people but nothing's really worked... Any help would be seriously appreciated as we're desperate to resolve this situation and keep pushing on with our careers. We've been together over a year and a half now and have firmly established ourselves across the North recently culminating in us winning Manchester's 106.1 Rock Radios Battle Of The Bands competition, play to a sell out 1,500 strong crowd at the Ritz as well as being invited to open up the SOS Festival on July the 9th (featuring Blaze Bayley!), support legendary Ac/Dc founder Dave Evans as he stops by in Manchester and not only have we been asked to come and play alongside Rise To Remain & Holy Grail on their Quest For Download tour by Live Nation but we've just shot our first Video as well! We're currently piecing together our debut album and would like to get a full line asap. We're looking for a solid player who can be creative and imaginative with their bass lines. Backing vocals are a major plus point but not a necessity. Alright guys Basically we’re a Manchester based Hard Rock / Metal band who’ve spent the last year or so gigging right across the North. Our curent bassist Ash is a friend who's been helping us out for almost a year now but can no longer commit to our schedule as he's getting more work as a Sound engineer / backline tech and this is what he really wants to do. So basically we're looking for a new bassist.... we're after someone who's rhythmically solid as well as being creative, strong backing vocals are a major plus point and we'd like someone who's happy to contribute to the writing process.
