1. Right then. Heres my attempt. Not entirely happy with it, but bored listening to #2 son's excuses for not adding a bit of guitar to the second bit so went with some old bolloxs I eventually managed Run Scoob or Jim'll FixYa And under 3 mins as well
 2.
I'm on a handheld - I can't see sigs hence my question
SORRY!! Basically any of : - Boss CE20 chorus - Overwater by Tanglewood Classic J - Squier 50th Anniversay Precision
 3. The various bits in my sig as For Sale (+ cash your way obviously )
 4. Watching, but need a sale on one of mine first really
 5. Now what I am supposed to be looking for is a good US P, but it is so near & shiny
 6.
Bump to remind that the Early Bird expiry date is fast approaching. I've got a ticket for the Saturday, and am still tempted to get one for the Sunday. Anyone else already got tix?
Ooo thanks for that. I must get this sorted (for Sunday) tonight!!
 7. Well it would be rude not now wouldn't it. Entry alsmost ready despite the clunky link between two bits of it.
 8.
Basically I'm gassing for a P bass and a bit confused by all the fender permutations. I won't be able to try before I buy - so any advice is appreciated.
You & me both. Tried a load yesterday & the one I like most seemed to be a 79 Bitsa (non Fender body, non standard pups but a good neck and sound). The newer ones tried, admittedly elsewhere & through a different amp included 2011 Standard & Special, and an FSR, which of the three new ones I preferred. Wish I'd managed the catch the one in FS that flew Saturday afternoon, but I think I really need to try before I buy rather than just dive in.
 9. Hmmmm now have two bits that sort of work & a clunky link. Time to finish & bare all tomorrow I suppose
 10. Right then. Think I have part 1 sorted weighing in at a derivative minute. Sadly currently have B'all for part 2
 11. Bagosh*te. You sit down with an idea for the Nov composition and....
 12. Well I might be, and up your neck of the woods next w/e, so perhaps
 13. Good stuff The "Lynott" will live
 14. In relation to this chesnut An approximation with "standard" bits
 15. Checks bank account Checks lottery numbers Wonders how much a kidneys worth
 16. I have at least one if not two Comfort straps that have lasted years the only problem being their skankiness as I am a bit of a sweaty bugger when gigging [EDIT] I have a couple of Mono straps and they seem OK, mind they are only a little over a year old
 17. But they're so much fun Mind it knackered me when I got my first 5 & took it to a gig that night. I had all our songs sorted using the D tuner to flick down & back up during songd - need the low D for the chorus, but E is fine for the verse, so flick down for the chorus & back up for the verse. Smashing
 18. Yup you will, or could well be stung import VAT and a handling charge by the courier to sort out the VAT from the US If the value of the items is

Under £15 then you do not pay VAT or Customs Duty
Between £15 & £135 you will pay VAT @ 20%
Over £135 you will pay VAT @ 20% plus Customs Duty (probably 2.7%, guitars requiring amplification are 3.7%) thought the Customs Duty is waived under £9
Look HERE Work on the basis that from the US you may well get caught and add 20% + £10 to the cost to see whether it is worth the hassle From the eurozone you will have to pay whatever their VAT rate is, not import VAT as it is already in the VAT area
 19.
Is there no longer a 'search' option?? Bit of a delayed question i've always wanted to ask - on the old format I could type in 'Jazz Bass' and all the threads with those words in would then display for me. I understand that this may have been bad for sellers shifting items on for a profit as it showed their original thread, but, I really just want to locate jazz basses for sale/trade. I'm only using Jazz Bass as an example, and I reckon this question has probably been covered, I just could find where .
Top left corner Search box. Defaults to the area you are in, so "This forum" when in one of the marketplace forums - at least it does for me
 20. Ditto. Never had a problem with this using the Hipshot in getting on 20 years on the Wal. Hipshot D Tuners rool
 21. You're not wrong there. Last March I managed a circuit of the show area, but spent most of my time in the theatre or masterclasses. Looks like I'm OK for this year as the March hols start from 11/3/13, so time to book a Sunday ticket methinks
 22. Yesterday now, but:

started with the drive to r/h expecting a major fallout and collapse of the band after the previous Friday's gig that ended in a shambles & with drummer muttering "I don't think I can do this anymore chaps"
got to r/h & nothing mentioned at all really other than "I can't see the point in playing there anymore"
#2 guitarist muttered about having been given the run around by the gig in the meantime, viz Landlord: "call me for next years gigs", #2 guitarist calling in and phoning at various agreed times and getting nowhere - my response "welcome to my world of trying to get us gigs"
the evening then progressed with working through two new covers & one proper rework, all of which went pretty well. My favourite of all three? Crazy Horses - The Osmonds via Gilbert/Portnoy/Morse - MWAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!
Got home & found the deps booked for this w/e & next appear to be off, though noone has had the good grace to bother to tell me (feckers) and I had turned down another on the strength of them, which rather pissed on the end of my day
or

Still a few new numbers for the set. Perhaps I can get my gig getting mojo back
