Great Bass tone does not fit in a family size hatchback with two child seats

I once made a 2 x 12 Cab into a Budgerigar nest box, minus the cones of course. I had taken the grill off and then lifted the cabinet up, putting both knees through each speaker. "who's a stupid boy then"

Glad you guys are not having any issues. I was hoping they would maybe pick up on this post and run a scan just in case. Hope all is well. I have now amended access through my defenses and can now browse their site again, which is probably more dangerous as some of you have indicated 😊

Mine is Malwarebytes usually pretty good at these things 🙁

My Grand daughter had one just like that

Yes so much more than the Ole beached whale we see so much of. There are subtle differences and do agree with Dood Jon Shukers single cut is more refined and understated than others. The eye tells you when its right before the brain can tell you why one works and one does not. When Warwick launched theirs I was shocked it was massive.

Are you designing a corset with shoulder straps to go with this new bass? cant say I'm a lover of any of those similar coffee table designs, as an Mbass Mk1 owner I feel this is still the best looking but although sold as a single cut, when you see where it meets the neck it is no different to a Horned bass. So my preference if truly going single cut to get the benefit would be like the Bassline Worp but I also like Lefay PAGTON can you pop a few other models silhouettes up here for more choice. cheers wouldn't like to guess any of the above shapes too similar

If you decide to put this in the recycling thread, I would install it in a Play Kitchen at a Kids Nursery they would love it, and probably figure out how it works 😀

Hope i didn't sell you that Trace top box then, I thought it was just what i needed too, didn't seem to add anything ?

Just Sold my Shuker Bass to Nick Very straight forward with PM's both ways, with pickup at my place, played the bass, bank transferred the money. bish bash bosh all done. Two bass players having been locked away for a year, well we could have talked for hours. Nice guy and straight forward to deal with. Would be very happy to do so again, all the best with your project Nick

Y Now you got me thinking I need a walk well its too late for pancakes -
I would endorse what you are saying Sibob I would have at least taken the 3 rd set and the Bass along to a guitar tech and asked him to put them on and explain the problems and see if it is Bass related then you would have a second professional opinion to put back to the company if he thinks it is a string issue. I bought a Fender CS 62 P bass a couple of years ago and so but La Bella flats on, no problems love them very addictive. didn't like TI's on previous P bass some years earlier. I have previously gone through every nylon coated flat wound string available for my Status Electro, finally settling on La Bella clear nylon wound, as the best, this was due to feel, tone and attack not faults. Just added this for anyone thinking of going through this expensive experimentation. I did however pass on all the other string when selling the bass some years later just in case it was a personal thing.

Totally agree with Chris and those who offer similar reassurance I Try and set out to get it as close as possible to the original, but band line up will determine if it will work and what changes each musician needs to make to adapt the piece so the overall delivery works. Our band went from a five piece with Keys doubling on rhythm guitar, to a four piece just Guitar bass and drums and vocal. We adapted, some numbers were dropped but we were tighter and lost the excess volume and feedback it was a joy. vocal harmonies can cover for a lot if you have them. Because a keyboard covers Piano, synth, brass and strings, and you don't have that, when the guitarist stops playing the guitar part to play the sax solo the bass player needs to come up with an amalgam of parts that fills that gap for the listener. It's just an example so nobody is going to really notice if you set out with a slightly different line. coming into a new band the others may miss things the last guy was doing, but as Chris said its just different, not wrong. Rule 6 above may also apply

I thought I remembered reading That Sting commissioned some 21" speakers as part of a multiple cab array when in the Police, I'm sure these were pictured in a mag I had possibly Bassist could have been in International musician, at the time. Anyone throw any light on that.
