1. Bassgear tend to do proper "bench" reviews.... see this for an example.. They're also the guys that "lifted the lid" on the TC "watts scandal" :-) http://epublish.panaprint.com/article/Glockenklang+Heart-Rock+II+Bass+Head/1115801/118550/article.html
2. If only they were 1960's valve watts..😂
3.
Everything about them says 'isobaric', so while the response to size ratio will be good, the output won't be. Watts don't matter, decibels do. The manufacturer won't reveal any details about them, while their lead spokesman seems to be seriously lacking in the knowledge department. I doubt he can spell 'isobaric', let alone know what it means.
Isobaric with mixed sized drivers? How well is that likely to work?
4.
Great! Looks like it's a TC Electronic, then. I tend to favour a cleaner sound, so I'll look at BH550 or 800. No too sure about that Toneprint thingy, though.
It's ok you don't have to use it There only seems to be £30 difference in pricing between the 550 and 800 at the moment... What cab(s) are you using?
5. More seriously, a lot of stuff on these on Talkbass - as always some people love them and other people don't...
6.
The specs look good but with a box that small?!! I believe that they may consume 1k+ watts but i don't think that'll be translated to SPL. Give me drivers pointing directly to my ears any day, i work too hard to get rid of the sub-bass boom on stage.
you can always stack them
7.
I'd love to play the ax synth , but I need to use both hands
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nuuy4aHAzqo
8. Yup... TC electronic - RH if you want want a warmer sort of tubey sound, the BH550/800 if something a little crisper... New BH800's are going for £449, should be able to get an RH750 for about £500 secondhand and an RH450 for rather less..
9. I've got a Roland ax-synth in the for sale section that might interest you..
10. What are you using ?
11. Anything to boost reported user numbers..
12. Stunning.. 34.5" ?
13. Markbass cmd151p ?
14. Really good live mics - much better feedback rejection than a SM58.. I have two going nowhere soon.
15. Chris bought my S12T from me.. Perfect gentleman and transaction.. Enjoy...
16. DiMarzio click strap fan here.. fitted to all my basses
17. appear to be available to order... https://www.andertons.co.uk/p/0158400800/electric-basses/fender-custom-shop-reggie-hamilton-sig-jazz-bass-iv-3-color-sb
18. pictures? location?
19.
Berg has feet on the end as well as bottom and designed to sit either way. Would love to hear this rig. With that Thunderfunk amp it must be pretty awesome sounding. Dave
Yup, it really punches... However with the Glockenklang heart rock your insides get rattled
20. They sound very similar on first impression - the berg just has slightly less of everything if that makes any sense ?
21. Tissue paper in layers with wood glue..
22. Tissue paper and wood glue was what I was told to use in the late 70's :-)

24. sadly this appears to be following the rule that what you do to upgrade your bass will not be reflected in the asking price.. I'd be tempted to pull the john east preamp out and sell it separately..
