1. Rocked up version of Saturday nights all right for fighting.. works really well..
2.
No sound comes out and the lights dont work on my one....
3.
I've used my TF 750 a lot with 2 Super Compacts and the sound is one of the best I've had. So how did it go?
Pretty damn fine.. Still need to get better at tweaking the parametric, but much more "present" than the RH750...
4.
Now that's a rig that looks like it means business!
It's looking good so far.. I might add my Barefaced compact to the stack for tonight :-)
5. I've had a few pre/power amp setups, always gone back to a single unit head in the end.. I'm taking my Thunderfunk 750 out for it's first outing tonight, so I'm super looking forward to that :-)
6. Mine has arrived.. Looking forward to trying it out.. Again, overnight delivery like Finndave.. I'm using a 30cm extender cable.. Only niggle is the the power supply polarity.. Luckily i've got converter cables in my gig kit...
7. Just ordered one... Looking forward to trying it out...
8.
After stumbling on the passive route I suddenly found the tone/s I had been looking for. I add an external pre-amp with a dash of bass and treble boost which is kinda like having an active. But...........For what ever the reason is, if this is a way of mixing passive and active, I dont know but it works for me. Generally I can set and forget here. On the amp I use its mostly flat but maybe a bit of mid boost around 200 most of the time room dependant.
It is an active bass you can't fiddle with, with a really long cable inside the control cavity
9. And as if by magic.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/252743051800
10. Bought a thunderfunk tf750 from Alberto. Everything went smoothly, no hesitation in buying from him again

13.
I reckon it's worth £60 though...
Then you probably won't be buying one...
14. 3-4 tweaks maybe, but more than a dozen in the same direction sounds a little odd to me..
15. Have you spoken with the Bass Gallery about this?
16.
That seems very expensive. My Wesley acrylic bass cost £60 second hand.
Sure.. Although it's not second hand and is a Steinberger clone to boot... :-)
17. I quite like this one :-) https://de.aliexpress.com/item/2017-new-arrival-4-strings-electric-guitar-bass-guitar-acrylic-guitar-bass-free-shipping-headless-guitar/32780041716.html
18. Zdirect vs xdirect. One is passive, the other active... http://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/art-dual-x-direct-dual-z-direct
19. I prefer to use hex drivers as you get much better contact on the head. They're like a screwdriver handle with an Allen key head.. I'll check what make mine are. Generally you can't go wrong with Wera tools
20.
I had one of those too. Kept it stock and it sounded brilliant. Really bright, really aggressive and looked amazing. Only downside was that mine weighed 9kgs.
And people complain these days about a 4kg jazz '-)
21. I live pretty close to bassdirect and have two barefaced cabs and a rh450 and rh750 you're welcome to come and play with..
22. Dear BC collective, I'm looking at moving to tablet based mixing and the three options that jump out (and all within £50 of each other if you shop around) are 1. Soundcraft Ui16 2. RCF M18 3. Behringer X18 Air. They all seem to have pretty much the same features (6 auxes) - the only downer (or plus) I can see is that the Ui16 uses an HTML5 based browser UI, whereas the other two use dedicated apps.. They all have mixed reviews when it comes to the stability of the wireless connection, and I suspect most problems are environmental and/or finger trouble.. Thoughts? Experiences?
23. I've just had a thunderfunk TF750 arrive 😉 will post pictures and first impressions later Slight hum - appears that this is an issue that is addressed with a small fix, and inaudible at any volume anyway... Sounds more "solid" than my RH750 - will gig it on Saturday night and see how it behaves in the wild..
24. I play keyboards to a pretty good standard, and by all accounts my bass playing is not offensive (I also played the flute to a decent standard) but I just don't "get" guitars... And I've tried....
25.
Yeh, weasel words ..... its not like insurance companies to try and weasel out of paying out is it? Do what you want. Its upto you. Its not me youll need to convince should anything happen. For the sake of a few pints, myself, as well as others on here, are covered, kit is covered, insured, as is the public, and it allows us into almost any venue. PS - to the OP - make sure your PLI is £10m or youll struggle to get in a lot of venues, especially hotels if you want to go down that route..
Thanks I will 😉 still waiting for the prison answer though 😉 which is the reason why I reengaged with this thread.
