Since Android has supported USB host mode since 3.1 I'm thinking of getting a 4.0 tablet to manage patches in my Nord Stage (which supports Midi over USB) Sort of a touchscreen interface for not much dosh.. However most of the stuff I've seen being used on forums etc has been to provide a control surface for a DAW over wifi/ethernet. However Touchdaw appears to support it without being specific or being able to find anyone else who has done this.. Now I know the easy answer is to buy an Ipad, but I'm not an Ipad sort of guy... Any thoughts, pointers, hints? Cheers Mark

It's clearly a combination of stock, staff and pricing. Plus good afterservice (hard to judge beforehand though).. I've found Mark at Bass Direct very helpful although I've bought embarrassingly little from him - my experience of the Bass Cellar was as laughable as most other folk have experienced.. Bizarrely I had a good experience in my local music shop (The Music Ground in Stratford upon Avon) which I've previously not had a great deal of time for.. Once again it was a sensible member of staff (Thanks Emily) who turned me around.,.,
