1. £285 or trade (Epifani UL110 or similar) This has been usurped by my newfound fondness for Epifani cabinets after several years of faithful service, and now finds itself back at The Bass Gallery from whence it originally came (four years ago if I remember correctly...). Aguilar have stopped making these, but the specs are as follows: Two 10" Aguilar stamped frame drivers with 38 oz. magnets Power handling: 250 watts RMS Impedance: 8 ohms Phenolic tweeter with integral phase plug Custom crossover with variable tweeter control One Neutrik Speakon, two 1/4" inputs Frequency response: 42 Hz – 16 kHz Sensitivity: 99 dB @ 1W 1M Dimensions: 15"H x 22.50"W x 16.625"D Weight: 52 lbs. Being somewhat short-sighted it didn't occur to me to take photos of it before Alex put it at the bottom of a great stack of cabinets, so I'm afraid this is all Ive managed to take for posterity. There are better pictures of what new ones looked like in this Bass Player review of the series from back in the day. For reference, the back panel looks exactly as the 4x10 panel on the second page, and Jon's review is pretty accurate. http://www.aguilaram...ab_bp112004.pdf The Gallery's entry for it is here; for the record, its 250W, not 350: http://www.thebassga...e=Bass%20Guitar The price there includes their commission, so I would like £285 for it. Alternatively, I would trade this for an Epifani UL 110. Being feeble-minded and weak-willed however, there are probably a lot of things I would trade it for that I don't know about yet! Can happily deliver it anywhere within London, but without a car itll be by TfL. P.S. It can also be heard in the below video, which was the best thing I could find and for which I can only apologise, mostly to Thin Lizzy fans, but also in general, just in case. I have a lonely feedback (thank you Dave!) here: http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1

 4. In that case, congratulations! All the best, T

 7.
Let's face if ever there was a bass to have extra screw holes or a bit of rout on show it would be something of this ilk...
I was just thinking that its all part of the '60s relic appearance... the Jaco Custom Shop basses have holes from where the old mute mounts went... T
 8. Worth travelling up to Whitley Bay just to see Dave's 'pension plan' on the wall, absolute gent all round, better service than any guitar store Ive visited! Thanks again, Tom

 12.
Nige, if a would-be buyer wants the bass sans J-Retro, I will take the J-Retro, mate
For reference, how much would the bass be sans E-Pro please?

 14.
Buy it! You won't regret it I'm sure.
Ah... the voice of reason... T
 15. Does this do valve drive? I can only see one gain control, so if you want valve distortion do you just have to crank it? T
 16. You may want to consider this: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=88795 thats for sale- '67 Hofner, very nice looking, in off-white, short-scale. Theres a sound clip posted. im afraid I cant vouch for anything though! My other recommendation would be a Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, which has a really very thin neck, but is full scale and doesn't come in white. I wouldn't however get too hung up on looking for short scale.
 17.
the FB is birdseye/figured....Looks like a US model from the fingerboard....these are so together as a bass package...everything is good...i love them...good luck with the S
6th photo down- of the headstock- suggests otherwise.

 21. PM'd. Bringing up the back of the queue it is... T
 22. Quickly, two things Id be interested to know: Whats the impedence on the amp? i.e. does it run into 4 or 8 or however many Ohms. Roughly, how much does it weigh? Thanks, T
