  1. 19mm string spacing, but can be adjusted obvs. I would imagine the nut width would be standard Monarch size.
  2. Yeah, I know mate. Already had a chat with Barrie before it was listed. Lovely bass.
  3. That looks fabulous Barrie. I fitting tribute. Is that 1139 I see on the wall behind him?
  4. Nice one Spewy. Top job 👍
  5. Let's see who breaks first then.
  6. Go on then. Sign me up.
  7. Usually @bassfan's responsibility.
  8. Thing is, the +/- number of instruments doesn't give a clear indication of what's going on. I'm +2 basses overall for 2022, but I'm still £'s in.... Out Alembic Spyder In Shuker JJ Burnel Precision Bravewood '66 Jazz Xotic XPJ-1T Chuck Rainey Signature
  9. Nothing bass related which is just the way I like it.
  10. Played a particularly busy pub in Hornchurch, Essex which I've just returned from. It was a ticketed affair and was sold out. Load in wasn't great due to the amount of people we had to get past and I was dreading the load out. The band leader (it was a dep gig) neglected to let me know that I wasn't the only dep. There was a drummer there that I'd never met before. Any reservations were dissipated after a few songs. Unbelievably good player. Hooked up with him on social straight away. We finished playing at 11.20pm and did everything we could to break everything down and escape before it went completely nuts at midnight. We made it out with one minute to spare! 25 min drive home with double the usual fee in my sky rocket. Showered and in bed with a glass of vino by 1am. Happy with that.
  11. My Shuker JJ Burnel Signature.
  12. One is a mid/treble frequency selector and the other provides 20db of boost.
  13. Sharing set lists electronically has been a thing for a while. Save the trees (except when building me a new bass of course 🤣).
  14. OnSong does everything I need it to, even in the free version.
  15. Someone has kindly Dropboxed me 'Strange Cousins', so just 'Corner Hotel' to go if anyone has it?
  16. Fixed 😂
  17. Most of it has now been amended. More likely not reading back before posting.
  18. Oh FFS. Have you spent any time in the shop with the likely author?
  19. I think you’ve taken my comment out of context to the post I was replying to.
  20. Now I'm confused. You suggested I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a USA and a Skyline and now your acknowledging there is a difference.
  21. Does anyone have original copies of either of the below albums? 'Strange Cousins at The Prince' 'Live at The Corner Hotel' They seem to be like rocking horse poo. 'Strange Cousins' is available on discogs, but it's over £100 and he won't ship to the UK anyway. I did see 'Corner Hotel' on eBay a few years back, but even then it was £70/80 I believe. No trace of either now. I managed to get 'Live in Flint, Michigan' and 'Heard It All Before - Live at the Hi-Fi Bar', so if you have what I'm looking for and not those two, maybe we could come to an arrangement? Thanks for reading.
  22. In the case of Fodera....rent, marketing, electricity, web design/promotion, plus they actually look after their employees.
  23. I don’t own any Skylines.
  24. I’ll e-mail Lakland immediately and tell them they should outsource their neck building 👍
  25. Exactly. I’m sure there are a few people that would still limit themselves to a HB P bass even if they won the lottery. If I had enough disposable income I’d order a few custom Fodera’s.
