    Quite often I find myself coming at it from the other way, I see a bass with a squiggle on it that I've never heard of them have to Google the name to find out who they are.

    I thought he wanted a graphite neck for touring in different climates day to day? A combined deal with modulus at the time could have seen one of the most popular signature bass models ever made. Other than the brief use of the Jazz he's been using a variation of a Stingray live since 1984, Humbucker in the MM spot and an active circuit.

    Anything fed off a generator can be hard to tell if it's wired up right, ten extension leads in a row can leave you with about 150v 🤣

    I carry one of those cheap plug in testers in my gig bag to check the polarity and if it has an earth, better than any certificate.

    I dont know why people are always surprised that you can buy the stickers online in pat test threads, I'm sure I could buy some surgical scalpels but that wouldn't make me a surgeon either.

    You can do a course just for pat testing, you could do it yourself providing you can prove that you are competent which I can't see how you could do without the course or just being a full blown electrician or at least have some form of electrical qualification.

    Some 1200 grit wet and dry used dry will do the job and can be polished back to a gloss finish easily if needed.
