  1. You can get dummy loads and attenuaters.
  2. My classic 5 isn't too bad, between my normal 2004 Ray5 and 2010 Ray5 weight wise.
  3. I wouldn't put my number in the general chat, send it to the seller via PM or you might find a Nigerian prince sending you an invoice for £850 in the next few hours!!! Cracking bass BTW
  4. The Adele one surprised me tbh, the violinist was only doing it to fill a gap while her regular guy was having a break, She's back on world tour now front of stage!
  5. Both broke the last time I saw a band using them!
  6. The sister of our guitarist is a world class violinist/mandolin player, she did the Adele tour and was told not to talk to her or look at her if she saw her outside of the dressing rooms. Singers and egos.
  7. We don't, lol. Digital desk set either to the right venue if we've played there before or pick something similar, marques are your friend with a digital desk. Away you go
  8. And the right way up
  9. Just looking at the bumf on the 2018, it says light weight hardware AND light weight ash body so you might be getting what you want along with the extra features after all.
  10. I was gas free but that does look ace!
  11. I don't think the weight was an issue, who wants a rattly bass cab? Probably something simple and easily fixed once opened up but why would you if you had an Aguilar and Ampeg to hand.
  12. Rickenbackers?
  13. I don't think lighter wood is more expensive?
  14. Any info will be welcome, we will be staying near the factory for one night. Ta
  15. That's pretty much what we're doing, I've done some of the pch on a Harley but we're doing from the Mexican border to just beyond San Fran but in a Jeep Grand Cherokee to keep the wife and her bad back happy this time!
  16. I was thinking more like dressing up as a Fedex guy
  17. That sounds like a job more suited to Silvia and Happy Jack! Maybe I could pretend to be a delivery driver or something?
  18. I gather they don't do factory tours or even have a gift shop! I'm going right past the factory later this year but I don't think they even have a decent sign for a selfie?!
  19. ^sounds perfect
  20. It's not really about being pro or amateur, I don't want to be living hand to mouth in my mid sixtees no matter what profession I'm in.
  21. Loving it!
  22. Like me, too many hobbies and not enough time
  23. Do Americans not have hobbies? I spend my spare time on my motorcycle, All day every Sunday when it's dry but I'm not looking to become a professional rider in any capacity, some people spends hours painting or building model train sets, what's the difference if people want to spend maybe 2 or 3 hours a week playing together? I wouldn't play at all if it wasn't for gigging bands so something like this in the future for me to keep my hand in might be ideal, there's no way I'll want to be playing five nights a week when I'm your age Blue.
