  1. Very nice, maybe chuck in TheRevs' badger man above in the middle next time, lol.
  2. I am going to pinch your tapping bit in EXs and Ohs as we do that one too! Nice to see the EUB out live too.
  3. Very brave using the misery stick in public, I haven't ventured out with mine yet!
  4. No not offended at all, I'd use my own PA there tbh anyway.
  5. I've got a 3.0, 6.0 and a 9.2 Shuttlemax with the twin channels, one channel is the same as the 6.2 but with the 900 watt power amp. Brilliant amps all of them.
  6. I can't play in thumb for toffee but I fit both rests just to grab it by and to stand it in a corner at gigs.
  7. Yeah that band plays mostly that way on, Sutton, Whittington etc plus a few weddings that can be anywhere within reason.
  8. I'm looking forward to watching these when I've got some decent Wi-Fi!
  9. I'll take lively with a terrible PA over a great sound in an empty pub any day, the typical audience there know what to expect from the venue, awkward shaped room full of people enjoying themselves, our resident nit pickers around here won't be there to suck the fun out of it ime.
  10. I just clicked the link, that Lana Del Rey song is just awful. Her name translates as 'the king's wool', just as a fun side note.
  11. I like Creep, there was some right terrible music around at around the same time Spoombung
  12. That's ern500evo's territory afaik, maybe send him a pm. Great venue, have a good un.
  13. https://m.facebook.com/LegacyLichfield/?locale2=en_GB There's a couple of little clips in here, you don't need Facebook to watch them, All about the bass and Johnny got a boom boom.
  14. Ace, I love the lack of fret markers.
  15. Makes total sense to me, I doubt I'll ever buy another bass amp/cab.
  16. I'm not a fan but I had an SGC Nanyo SB320 in trans green and that looked great, the build quality shamed everything I've ever seen under a couple of grand too.
  17. I think a bad instrument remains bad, a good one 'might' become even better. The junk that was junk when new remains junk, you can keep trying that Kay bass in the wardrobe every ten years but I'm confident it will still be junk every time.
  18. I really like it, what age is it do you think?
  19. http://www.musicmanbass.org/mycustompage0061.htm Defo a 90s bridge complete with Flea saddles and serial number and the ernie ball era mute kit with the smaller thumb screws, I bet that bridge alone is worth a few quid.
  20. That's really nice! I think I've worked out the mystery with the bridges, that's a Flea bridge but with the mute kit fitted that the Flea just had bolts to blank off the holes. Look how the strings exit straight from the saddles rather than kicking off to the side, great purchase.
  21. You wouldn't need to on a Musicman, they come fitted with one to save you doing it, lol.
  22. How can age improve two lumps of wood bolted together? A 1970s 15lb Fender Jazz with a terrible neck pocket will only improve if you take it to a good luthier to have the body chambered and the neck pocket redone.
  23. Oh and hang on a minute didn't someone else's EB from the recent thread go back faulty straight out the box? Hhmmm I think I'll stick with my original comment and add that you got a rare good one. Look after it,lol.
